The name Alva is inspired by the noble one. At the House of Alva, we celebrate artisans who lovingly craft timeless scarves for you. Each piece is lovingly designed by our finest artisans of rare art forms. Each piece tells a story of celebration of a unique and rare artistry like block printing, hand made kantha embroidery, hand-weaving, and screen printing.

Our one of a kind, block printed scarves are made by the 4th generation master block printers from Bagru, Rajasthan. You will find us spending several days and months in a year working directly with our block printing brethren, in the wilderness of Bagru. We use the finest silk cotton, natural and vegetable dyes, non-toxic pigments and over 400 year old block printing techniques from Rajasthan to produce our scarves.
