Frequently asked questions
What is your cancellation and return policy?
Due to our exceedingly rapid turn-around time, we DO NOT offer cancellations. (ie. By the time most customers decide to cancel, their item has already been cut)
All Items are custom made-to-order therefore we DO NOT accept returns or exchanges BUT please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Unfortunately, we cannot remake items where the wrong personalization, font, color, or size was ordered please be sure to review your order confirmation for accuracy. We have many charts in the listing photos to help you with your purchase including color charts, font, and size charts. Don't forget to check out the item details & processing times for specific details about the item. Let us know if you have any questions!
What if I don't see a color choice from the chart in the dropdown?
We currently stock over 100 color choices. Etsy only allows us to have a minimum of those colors in the dropdown menu. If you do not see the color you are interested in in the dropdown- You can select "OTHER", then type us a note with your color choice (from our charts) in the personalization or notes to seller box at checkout. We will create your order with the color notated.
Is mounting hardware included?
Mounting hardware is not included unless otherwise noted or purchased. Due to our liability insurance requirements, we can not include mounting hardware because of the versatility of our products and the many mounting options, sizes, weights and substrates. Our products can be used hanging by chain or rope, on a door, mounting to sheetrock, wood, brick, or rock, on storefronts, on the side of food trucks and so on. To ensure that the item is safely and properly mounted, hardware must be purchased based on the type of wall, or mounting requirements for each individual item. Our free shipping option is via USPS ground service- We do offer UPS upgrades at checkout. ADVERTISED SHIPPING CHARGES & FREE SHIPPING APPLIES TO THE 48 CONTINENTAL U.S. STATES ONLY- for items 3 feet and under.

We are unable to guarantee any shipping dates & are not responsible for delays. Please allow extra time, we do not offer refunds on delayed packages. We will file a claim for the lost package after 28 days & send a new package pending approval of the claim.
Under some circumstances, we reserve the right to ship via UPS ground. Please include the full address for package delivery (PO box and Physical address if applicable)
What do I do if I receive an item damaged?
Unfortunately, we have no control over the carrier & damages may occur from time to time, please contact us within ( 3 business days) of delivery with photos of the item & packaging so that we can file a claim with the shipping carrier and ship out a replacement to you as quickly as possible. Please keep all original packaging and its contents which is required by the shipping provider.
Please email the following photos:
1) outside of the box showing tape, stickers, and any folds bend or damage to the box
2) Close-up of the Shipping label
3) bubble & Packing material
4) Any damages to the inside of the box including creases, folds, bends
5) Damages to the item
6) Full image of the item from the front and back of the item
Do you provide design proofs or mock ups?
Digital proofs are provided as a courtesy. We will provide (1) free design proof UPON REQUEST ONLY with purchase for PERSONALIZED ITEMS ONLY. The proof request MUST be made on the order. We will provide proof within 5 business days +/-. When you receive proof please verify the accuracy of the spelling & details of the submitted order. Please REPLY within 24 hours, After 24 hours the order will be moved to production. Changes can not be made
Requesting digital proof and/or changing personalization details will DELAY the advertised ship date & may incur design change fees. We do not allow cancellations after design work has been started-NO EXCEPTIONS. The submitted order is approval, we do not need further approval to complete order.
Do you accept custom orders?
We will be glad to work with you to create a custom sign. Please contact us for the custom design request form and price quote. Please email your design ideas, sketch, or logo file to CustomerService@HouseSensationsArt.com please include size. specifications/requirements, mounting requirements, color or colors, sign shape or style, if you would like LED lights, any other special requests, and shipping zip code We can help create basic farm signs, ranch signs, word signs, etc or if you have a clip art or sketch and know your layout we are happy to quote that. But we do require an exact idea of what you are wanting on the sign and layout.
Carbon Steel Signs & Finishes Available
FOR RAW METAL (STEEL) ONLY -without a clear coat WILL rust & weather, even indoors. The clear coat sealant will protect the sign from rusting and weathering.
ALL RAW METAL (STEEL) (both with & without a clear coat) may show flaws & imperfections that exist in the metal. This may include scratches, flecks, gouges, burns, rings, dark spots, etc. This can give the metal a unique, rustic, or rugged appearance. If you would like these characteristics covered, we recommend selecting a colored powder coat finish. Can also vary in color from light silver to black.
POWDER COATED- Steel Signs can be powder coated. Powder coating is an industrial application. Available in indoor finish or outdoor. Outdoor has an outdoor clear over the colored coat.
Aluminum Signs & Finishes Available
Aluminum signs are made from premium 1/8" aircraft-grade aluminum which is lightweight but durable. This is especially important on larger-sized items. Aluminum also offers better resistance to corrosion in a saltwater environment. We do recommend powder coating/clear coating any item in a saltwater environment.
In Both CARBON STEEL and ALUMINUM we offer a high-grade industrial UV powder coating. Available are indoor and outdoor options. With the outdoor option, we add an additional UV CLEAR COAT over the powder coating making it more durable to protect against sun, rain, snow, extreme heat, or extremely cold climates. Examples: Desert or Mountain conditions.
