I have never purchased a custom made hat before and I normally have size issues when buying hats so I was initially nervous. However, Tricia was meticulous with getting my measurements and really made sure I felt confident about this purchase. The hat fit perfectly. I never want to take it off! lol Quality: The hat is BEAUTIFUL. I am definitely going to purchase another from house of nines. Delivery: From Paris to Charlotte, NC standard postage only took about 7 days! Hat was double packed and came with a really nice hand written note. I love it!

Returns and exchange details
Returns are offered on ready-to-wear items only, i.e. standard styles chosen out of our catalog. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging materials and with all original tags still attached. Custom orders, gift cards and gift certificates are not eligible for return. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Before attempting to make a return, contact us to receive a return authorization and the return shipping address. If authorization is granted, items must be returned to us within 21 days of purchase for return of the purchase price of the item, minus the shipping fees. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your returned product to reach us may vary.
For returns, we strongly advise you to using a trackable shipping service and to purchase shipping insurance for the full value of the item being returned. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and are not responsible for any loss, damage, or delay during shipping.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item, and of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If it is approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within one week of the return approval.
Late or missing refunds
If you have returned an item and more than a week has elapsed since we should have received it, but you haven’t received a refund-related notification from us and/or a refund to your original payment account yet, first check your shipment tracking information to be sure that we have received the item. Also check your payment account again, and contact your payment company to inquire about their policy regarding processing times on refunds. It may take some time between when we post the refund and when it shows in your payment account, due to processing time needed by your payment company. We have no control over outside payment company processing times. Feel free to contact us directly to inquire about the status of your return.
Payment
Shipping
Shipping & handling charges include double-boxing for the safety of your item while in transit, and the interior box is a decorative hatbox you can also use for a gift box or storage. (Unless otherwise noted- some hats may be too large to double-box.)
Every item shipped is fully insured. All of the packing materials we use are reusable / recyclable. All shipments are packed with sufficient padding and an adequately sized box for the item.
We normally ship once per week.
