Announcement    Here at House of Uniqities our drive to create comes directly from the thrill of doing a double take. The adrenalin rush we feel when our eyes pass over something we haven't seen before. That sense of wonder we experience as our minds try to classify what we are looking at. And the much, much too rare exhilaration that comes with realizing that the object before us does not easily fit into conventional categories. Because it is unusual, special. Because it is unique.

Everything we create is handcrafted with the goal of attaining that illusive quality. Everything we create reflects the mark of our hands and the tools they hold, not machines.

Most of our silver and gemstone jewelry is designed to catch the eye while still being classic enough to easily work into your daily wardrobe. Other pieces step more boldly into the spotlight. All are intended to draw attention.

    Thank you for visiting House of Uniquities' Etsy shop! While some of our more unusual pieces may not be for everyone, we do hope that everyone will find something that touches the part of you that likes to color outside the lines, dance in the grocery store, and perhaps occasionally hug a stranger when you are really happy. They refer to that part of the soul as your 'fancy' and we all need it tickled from time to time. It is our genuine hope that our work does just that.

    Please read through our shop policies carefully and don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

    Returns and exchanges
    We sincerely want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you do not, notify us within 5 days of delivery confirmation to discuss how we can make you happy. If the item simply does not speak to you, we will gladly refund your money minus shipping charges upon receipt of your return. You will be responsible for return shipping charges and items must be received within 20 days of initial delivery in new condition. Refunds cannot not be made on damaged or altered pieces.
    Payment
    We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Paypal.

    As required by law applicable sales tax will be applied to orders shipped to Colorado.
    Shipping
    Domestic Orders - We ship Mon-Saturday, holidays excluded via US Postal Service First Class mail with delivery confirmation. Items will be shipped within 3 days of order but frequently ship within 24 hours. Once shipped packages should arrive in 3-7 days. Insurance will be added to orders over $100 at no extra charge. Once delivery has been confirmed to the order address we cannot be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages.


    International - We welcome international customers! Items will still be shipped within 3 days of order via US Postal Service First Class mail but please be aware that international delivery times can range from 2-5 weeks and customs may create additional delays. Delivery confirmation and insurance is not included with international shipping. However if you are interested in either of these or would like a rush delivery, please contact me prior to purchase and I will be glad to find pricing for you. Lastly, there may be additional customs, duty and taxes upon delivery which you should be prepared to cover. For more information on this, you may want to contact your country's customs office.
    Additional policies and FAQs
    We do our best to represent our product as accurately as possible in both photograph and description. Please pay close attention to the measurements provided as they may give you a more complete image than the photos alone.

    All designs are one of a kind originals. The handmade nature is reflected in irregularities and slight defects which serve to highlight the uniqueness of each piece.
