Welcome to Huggie Saint Dolls.
Huggie Saints hand-sewn Catholic Saint Dolls are the perfect gifts for a Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Feast Day, or just because. As featured in Catholic Digest Magazine (Spring 2014), these 14” x 9” super-soft saint and angel dolls are hand-made with love by Grandma Penny, using soft polar fleece and polyfil.
They are a fun and tangible way to learn about the Saints, while providing a snuggable, huggable, lovable friend. A brief history of the particular saint is included with each doll order.
EACH DOLL IS MADE TO ORDER. Please note wait time for sewing and shipping.
Fabrics, trims and laces may vary due to availability. Stitching and faces vary from doll to doll because each is handmade and each is unique; like each of us! Packaged in clear cellophane bags to show off doll with a festive bow on top. No home is complete without a Huggie Saint Doll to love!

Wow! This doll is so soft and adorable. Its incredibly special to see my daughter hold and sleep with the Little Flower right by her side. :) I will definitely be ordering more for our kids and for gifts for friends.

From my heart to yours...
God has blessed me with three daughters and 14 grandchildren, and hopefully more grandchildren to come! I wanted each of them to have something special and unique that they could cherish, not just another piece-of-junk-made-in-China-toy-from-Walmart that would soon be forgotten or accidentally crushed underfoot. I have been crafting as far back as I can remember, as a kid.
I rely on the intercession of the Saints to get me through each day. (Why toil alone when a multitude of saints who can see you and the face of God at the same time are always ready and willing to help you through any struggle, no matter how small?) The Communion of Saints!
What a wonderful gift from God! We are one big family - praying for each other, building each other up, and reminding one another that our destination is Heaven. Each person in Heaven is our brother or sister in Christ; praying for us to make the right decisions on earth so we can one day join them in Heaven forever!
Some how, Our Blessed Mother inspired me to design and sew saint dolls to spread devotion to them. So I started sewing saint dolls for my grandchildren, and taught them about their saint and why he/she was special, and how they intercede for us. My grandchildren loved their saints. They played with them and slept with them. Before long, I was making them for their friends.
I like to think about each saint and pray to them while cutting out the patterns and stitching them together, and I ask the particular saint in Heaven to intercede for whoever receives this little special doll.
Now, my grandchildren help me cut out the patterns, and though they are all still young, I hope that at least one of them will continue making HuggieSaints after I leave this world and join my friends in Heaven.
I have heard of so many blessings from people who have purchased or received my dolls, it just inspires me to sew more!
