I offer you this lovely stanza from a Leonard Cohen song as a dedication to the imperfection of vintage and antique items ... to me, this is what makes them beautiful. For like human beings, they have scars that reveal their history. If they are a little rough around the edges, we love them all the more for it.

PLEASE use the ZOOM function and examine all photos and descriptions closely before buying. I sell many vintage and antique items, which means that they are in vintage and antique condition, i.e. not new or perfect.

When I sell a mixed lot of "vintage" items, there may be a mixture of antique (i.e. 100-150 years old) and newer vintage (20-30 years old) ... in other words, they probably won't all be Victorian or Civil War era gems.

I *love* a bargain and for that reason, I try very hard to provide reasonable price and excellent service. Most of my items are priced about 20% below retail.

Payment or arrangements for payment must be made within 72 hours (3 days) or the item will be relisted.

NO LOCAL DELIVERY or PICKUP.

I am always happy to combine shipping to save you money. All domestic packages will be sent first class mail with delivery confirmation. I am not responsible for packages lost by the U.S. Postal Service.

Please remember that shipping costs include more than postage --envelopes, bubblewrap, poly bags, ribbons and stickers, even gas and time to go to the post office.

Hummingbird Eyes is a GREEN shop. In an effort to preserve the environment:
a) To save trees, I do not include printed invoices with my packages. I do all my record keeping online and hope that my customers won't mind doing the same.

b) Whenever possible I use recycled bubblewrap or paper wrapping for my packaging.

c) If you can, please reuse your Hummingbird Eyes packaging instead of throwing it away!

All international shipments are mailed once weekly, on Saturdays.

Due to problems with the Australian postal service, all Australian packages will now need to be shipped priority mail, which costs a flat rate of $12.95. Please note that some international shipments take 4-5 weeks to be delivered.

I am happy to provide copies of international mailing receipts on request, but once an international package leaves my hands, I am not responsible for delayed or lost shipments to international addresses.
Refunds and Exchanges
All sales are final. I do not accept returns. Please examine all items carefully in the photos before you purchase.
