This has to be one if not the best transactions that I have every made online. Purchasing online can be a gamble, but this purchase was flawless. Every step of the process was easy and Matt of Hutcheson Design + Co was a pleasure to work with. Initially I had a few questions and Matt was extremely helpful with no lag time in getting my questions answered. The date promised was met and I believe I received it a little earlier than expected. The shipping carton was bullet proof and I could instantly understand the care that was put into finished product so that no damage would occur. The finished product is flawless and the detail was perfect. The miter corners show the craftsmanship that Matt has. The French Cleat wooden hanging system is perfect and made the installation very simple. The grain is a perfect pick of beautiful oak.

The matte poly finish is nice and barely changes the color of the wood which is nice. The raw finish is nice if you’re going to stain it or finish it yourself.

Beautiful mantle. Custom made and took just a few weeks to receive. My favorite part is the French cleat. It made install so much easier.
