Announcement    Original pastel, oil and graphite works, sketches and preliminary drawings are listed here for purchase directly from my cluttered basement. Having been an illustrator for 30 years, what I have available spans projects from long ago first efforts to the latest pounding of sand.

Contrary to the hopes of a number of artists, exhibit creators and dealers over a very long while, the Dinosaur Renaissance did not carry over into an established genre for paleoart. Even today, it is death to walk off the street into an art gallery with a dinosaur illustration under your arm. The gatekeepers of fine art have long given a thumbs down to geeky scientific illustration.

So, I'll experiment with offering my work to brave souls through Etsy.

Selling originals generally requires finding buyers prepared to believe they are making an investment, as well as following after some subject of interest or support. I've listed a variety of original works that I hope may meet such expectations. I welcome purchases and support--but there are no guarantees that 20 or 50 years hence these works will have appreciated in value any more than an old pair of shoes. I've posted available works that might match budgets large and smaller.

I have also adjusted the posted images for color and density, intending that they properly represent the original work. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
