IKKX - bold, colorful statement jewelries
I am an interior designer, but jewelry making always had a special meaning for me, so a few years ago I started focusing more on designing jewelries.
I like to wear and create over sized, chunky necklaces and bracelets, that are comfortable, Eco friendly and of course with that „je ne sais pas quoi” original, crazy touch.
When I discovered t-shirt yarns, (presenting 100% recycled textile yarn made of superior quality recycled textile selvages and remnants of European fashion industry) I knew they will be perfect for my ideas, the polymer clay hoops or beads again permit endless color combinations, I just love playing with them.
For inspiration I am always returning to the origins: nature and my Hungarian roots, as my knitted jewelries forms and elements were inspired by a special Hungarian whip that has hoop(s), also my childhood, my son's drawings are eternal sources of pure forms, colors, ideas, feelings...
But I always re-actualize the original forms, I always try to add something from our every day life, so my latest collection is inspired of big cities graffiti arts.
