Easy Quilt Pattern & Beautiful Handmade Quilts

Hello! My name is Alexandra and I am from Russia. In my family, all the women love to do needlework - to embroider, sew and draw. Even my great-grandfather sewed clothes and shoes, sang and painted figures. My grandmother's house in the village, to me, was the most beautiful home that I had ever seen. It was filled with patchwork quilts, embroidered curtains and snow-white napkins. It is these hand-made things that can make our homes special and cozy.

Quilting is my passion. Eight years ago I sewed my first blanket for my daughter. Seeing her joy in receiving this handmade quilt that brought her so much comfort and security led me to fall in love with quilting.It is my mission to bring comfort, joy and a sense of security to others through the creation of quilts. In my small workshop, I sew blankets for children and adults using only high quality, environmentally friendly materials.

Two years ago I took a course on working in the EQ program and began to create my own designs for quilts. I love blankets that can be sewn in 2-3 evenings and still look beautiful.

A few words about me:
* I am a professional radio and television journalist. This allows me to run my own YouTube channel on which, of course, I talk about quilting.
* I am a perfectionist at sewing.
* I love listening to audiobooks and sewing.
* When I'm not sewing, I enjoy cooking delicious dinners, watching movies and walking in the park with my daughter and husband.

Quilts have become a part of our life. Our lives are surrounded by their warmth and comfort. It all starts when we are born. Each mother or grandmother lovingly hugs their baby and covers them with a patchwork quilt.

We carry on this tradition in children's rooms. Blankets for games, pillows for reading books - all this creates comfort and safety in the child’s world. And, of course, any child will love making their bed if it is their favorite patchwork bedspread.

When we become young people and step in adulthood, our mother always sends us a package with a patchwork quilt. It reminds us of our family values and traditions and helps us cope with separation from loved ones.

And what about the traditional wedding ring patchwork quilt?

Let me help you add that special quilt that will enhance the beauty of your home, while creating memories that will last your lifetime and beyond.
