OMG thank you so much the book marks are awesome! Look foward to future purchases ??
It's all about defining imagination.
Feathers. Lots of feathers. I liked the smell, the texture, the feel of the feathers as I wipe them across my face. Sure, it may sound odd, but as a 10-year-old boy with $2 in his pocket, feathers were my world. The ole fashioned trading post in my small southern Illinois town sold feathers, loose ones, all varieties, and in so many colors.
I'd buy as many as I could and take them home. I spent hours counting them, lining them up, and imagining what could be. I'd take glue, glitter, anything really, and make elaborate masks. Well, as elaborate as a boy of ten can be.
As life continued, I'd pick up glue guns, pencils, paint brushes, freeing my mind to use my artistic expression. About 20 years ago, I discovered polymer clay. I loved this versatile and vibrant medium, and I continue to sculpt with it to this day.
Sure, my talents have morphed into something less childlike and more professional, but my love will always be with sculpting. In my hands, and with my select tools, a lump of clay can become a misshapen doll, a pair of wicked witch legs, or an ornament.
I loved to share my talent as a gift to family and friends, and now I can share myself with the world, thanks to Etsy!
Around the web
Owner, Maker, Designer, Curator, I Envision And Create All My Own Ideas.
I've been creating for as long as I can remember. Anything and everything is a blank canvas. A little paint here, a little glitter there, and voila!
Here you won't find a chai latte or even a regular cup of coffee (sorry, caffeine seekers). Here, you'll find fun bookmarks and other creations.
Whether you're looking for gifts to give, or a gift for yourself, I offer a wide assortment of hand-sculpted bookmarks and other fun gifts. My creations are made with my own two hands just for you. I never use molds, ever. So each piece is just a little different, in its own unique way. No two of anything I do will be exactly alike. That's what makes Ian's Café something distinctive.
My collection includes many wonderful things from whimsical to weird. Many have funny or thought-provoking statements, and all can be customized to your specifications.
Polymer clay is my obsession.
Oh, and I do graphics too! Logos, banners, and more!
All my creations are truly distinctive. From graphics to clay creations and everything in between you'll only find one of a kind items in my shop. That's why I specialize in custom orders. Two heads are better than one. We'll come up with a perfect plan, no matter what your needs are.
