Naughty was never so Nice

The Creative Dispensary featuring Ice Moon Studio started as a way for me to relieve my aching walls of all of the ceramic sculpture and paintings that populated them. I sold a few to friends and family and realized that people liked my work and I should try to establish a little business. So here it is. Come in and be welcome!

Ice Moon Studio accepts payment via PayPal and Money Order only. Sorry, no exceptions.
Items will be shipped 1-7 days after payment is received. We can make arrangements to ship within a given number of days, too. Just include your request for earlier shipping in your order notes.

Please note that items shipped to the USA have been known to take 4-6 weeks for delivery, and sometime they arrive within a week. There is no way for us to control the speed at which you receive your parcel. Items shipped outside North America can take upwards of two months.

--Shipping Methods--

We ship from Canada.

Canada and US: All shipments made within Canada and to the US will be shipped parcel post via Canada Post. This includes $100 CDN worth of insurance. Extra insurance can be added by request. Updated shipping charges will be communicated to Buyer before item is shipped. Express shipments are available for additional charge by request and agreement between Ice Moon Studio and the Buyer.

***If you do not want to pay for the insurance and expedited service you will save some money. Please let us know and the difference will be refunded to you.***

International Orders: We will ship internationally. Due to drastic rate changes by Canada Post, we cannot estimate shipping costs and will calculate them at the time that you place your order. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but we feel that this is the best way to be sure you are not overcharged. Unless otherwise specified in your order note, shipping will be by Ground and by Air. Delivery estimates are not available - the post office usually says 2-8 weeks. This does not include tracking.

Shipping with extra insurance can be arranged by request and the total shipping charge will be provided to the Buyer before shipment. Express shipments are available for additional charge by request and agreement between Ice Moon Studio and the Buyer. Please allow an additional day or two for us to investigate shipping options to your country.

Lost or Damaged Items

Although we make every effort to ensure that your pottery item is boxed up safely and leaves our door in pristine condition, it is not always the case that the box arrives at its destination in the same state. Due to the fragile nature of these items, we cannot fully guarantee that they will always arrive in one piece, sadly enough. Ice Moon Studio is not responsible for packages lost or items damaged in transit, and there are no refunds for lost packages or damaged items, no exceptions.


We know that you will love your new purchase, however, if it disappoints, then this makes us sad and we'd like to help.
We accept returns on *non-ceramic* items only for refunds against the original cost of the item being returned. Shipping is non-refundable, no exceptions.

Other Items (Vintage, etc)
We do accept returns for non-ceramic items. We do not refund shipping costs. Item must be received in the same condition that it was sent before a refund will be applied. Refunds will be applied via the same payment method used by the Buyer.
Additional policies and FAQs

1. Can I hang or stake the garden masks?

Yes, every garden mask comes strung with picture wire to allow you to hang it on a garden wall or stake as you see fit.

2. Are your glazes non toxic?

Yes, all of our work is fully non-toxic unless otherwise stated in the product description.

3. Do you do custom work?

Unfortunately we do not do custom work at this time. If there is something that you had in mind, please PM us and we will consider making something similar. If we do so, it will be listed to the general public and you will receive an email letting you know that it is in the shop where you can then decide if you like it or not. We regret that we will not be able to consult with you during the creative process, so what gets produced is at our discretion.

4. Are the colours represented in the images accurate?

Yes, as far as possible. Sometimes the unique aspects of colour are difficult to capture on camera. Also, each computer displays colour slightly differently, so that something that is accurate on our computer, might not be quite the same as what you see. We are happy to provide you with extra images to help you make your purchasing decisions. Please feel free to send an email asking for alternate images and we will do our best to oblige.

5. How do I tie the crescent moon necklaces and have it stay tied up?

There are two options.

a) A square knot is the best way to tie these necklaces and have them stay tight. The flexibility of using the square knot allows you to alter the length of the necklace at your whim. If you try the second option below, you will lose that flexibility. This is why we do not finish the necklaces with clasps.

b) The hemp ties are easy to add findings (clasps or hooks, etc) to. Any local beading or jewellry supply store can help you find something that will work.

6. Your shipping costs seem expensive to me and I do not like it.

Shipping costs are as accurate as possible. We charge for shipping AND handling. Many people do this on Etsy. It costs money to take time off work, for gas to get to the post office, parking, and Etsy and PayPal both charge fees for processing sales and we need to recoup some of this. In order to package up your ceramic items as safely as possible, we do need to box them in parcels quite a bit larger than the item itself and this causes shipping to be more, too. Anything less will compromise getting your purchase to you in one piece.

7. I want a discount for buying more than one item at once.

We do not give discounts unless we are having a sale. Remember that as a Buyer, you are under no obligation to buy anything for any reason, at any price.

8. I can get something just like this at my local {insert name of big box store here}, so why don't you offer me discounts to be competitive?

This shop is not here to be competitive. It is not here to make money (which it does not). It is here to offer beautiful, unique pieces of art to an appreciative audience of select buyers. {Insert name of big box store here} will be happy to have your business.

9. How often do you list new items?
New items are listed approximately once a month. Please feel free to PM for the next expected listing date.
