This was ordered as a Christmas present, so it had to be approved by the giver and the recipient. Giving artwork as a present is always tricky, but I was taken by the on-line photos and thought that it would be appreciated. The delivery was far quicker than I had anticipated and the packaging would have been suitable for an Old Master! I opened the package in some trepidation, pausing only for the complimentary chocolate (nice touch!), and breathed a sigh of relief. It was a lovely piece and I was confident that it would make a really great gift. And so it proved to be. It now takes pride of place in the lounge of the recipient, who also wishes me to express her thanks to the artist. That's unanimous then, so thank you for such a lovely work.
