Loved this! fits around my wrist perfectly and easy to get on. Light weight, but durable so I'm not afraid of a snag breaking it.

Crafting to avoid conforming.

My name is Joshua ilis Jayde - or just ILIS, as I prefer to be known in the creative community.

I started my shop after losing my job early in 2012. At that point, I was really tired of working for your average joe - at minimum wage, without receiving any moral value or common respect from my employers. This system really didn't fit me or my personality, and I created my shop in an attempt to be my own boss and take control of my life.

I'm still in the beginning phases of my journey, and I'm still quite far from achieving my long term goals. But I mostly list unique artisan crafts, although I occasionally toss in a piece of original artwork (mostly oil paintings). I also have a habit of stumbling upon a vintage item here and there, and I sometimes use Etsy to sell those things.

All of the funds from this Etsy store fund my creative endeavors, and I can't thank my audience enough for all of the kind contributions. Thank you, sincerely.

My name is Josh, but in the art world I go by ILIS. I'm a painter and an artisan, and occasionally I find something vintage that I just can't resist listing. Here on Etsy, you'll mostly see listings of my unique handmade creations.

Welcome to CHAIN REACTION - an exclusive shop of eco-friendly jewelry created with our planet and its people in mind. I call my current project THIRST - which inspired the creation of my unique "upcycled" earrings. By combining aluminum soda can tabs with chainmaille construction techniques and a traditional array of materials, my designs are bright and sturdy, but elegant and flexible.

Each pair of earrings is offered at a flat rate only to customers in the continental United States. The price includes shipping, and also a $3.00 donation (per item) to - a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe drinking water and sanitation to developing countries. The price of the item is what you pay at checkout, and no other fees are added on. For more information about my decision to support, please see my policies page or visit their website.

if you are new to Etsy, you can make purchases by signing up for a free account. Click the green "Add to cart" button next to the item you choose to purchase, and the Etsy website will prompt you through your account setup. It's easy, and it's a great gateway to a unique community of artists and artisans - and of course, their lovely work.

Thanks for your time, and enjoy browsing through my selection here at CHAIN REACTION.

All the best,

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
At this time, I prefer to take payment via Paypal. Note: payments can still be made with a credit or debit card through Paypal, without setting up a Paypal account, by using the "guest checkout" option on the Paypal site. Some limitations apply, but it's a simple process.

I can take personal checks or money orders. However, customers should be aware that shipping will be delayed until payments clear, for security purposes.

Sales tax, shipping, the $3.00 donation to, and fees from Etsy are all DEDUCTED from the full payment of these items, not ADDED to them.
Currently, I ship via USPS, first class mail, only within the continental United States. I make an honest effort to ship within 2 business days. I do provide tracking information for all packages, and I make every attempt to ensure safe and prompt delivery.

I ship to the address you supply to Etsy while making your purchase. If you would like to ship to a different address, as in such instances as gift purchases, please contact me. More info on gift purchases can be found in my ADDITIONAL INFORMATION section below.

At this time, I am unable to offer any shipping accommodations other than those listed above. I'm sorry for any inconvenience, and I do hope to change this as my artistic endeavors expand. Those interested should please check back soon for updates to this policy, or contact me directly for more information.
Refunds and Exchanges
I only offer refunds on items for the first week after their USPS confirmed delivery date. This is to avoid being held responsible for damages incurred by the consumer. Any refunds will be issued for the full purchase price, minus shipping and Etsy's Transaction Fees.

Although every effort is made during the shipping process to ensure arrival of items in an intact and orderly matter, sometimes damages can still be caused in transit. Though unusual, I do offer the option of replacing damaged goods.

I am not responsible for items lost in transit by USPS. Unfortunately, I have no control over their delivery methods or their capabilities to track their cargo. This is why I take advantage of the USPS tracking capabilities, and monitor them frequently through shipment. Loss of items in transit is rare, but precautions can be taken for additional fees. USPS offers a wide range of alternative shipping accommodations that provide more confident delivery strategies, all of which are listed on their website. Should you choose a different method of shipping, contact me for price adjustments.
