Hello I am Sir, an at home Dad & handicapped Marine that refused to stay still. When my mother passed away 4 years ago i fell into a very lonely place. Lost my step and birth father 4 months after mom. Shortly after a also my wife. As a man i lost purpose, was homeless a few months also lived with friends until i got bank on my feet. During my rebuild i found my mom's old singer sowing machine. I felt like mom was sending a sign. I worked on it but was defeated. I thought no I'm not.. I saw online Brothers had one at Wal-Mart. I was very hesitant because this was new to me. I've had this voice (mom) telling me to go ahead so i did. I took the machine home and this voice said you remember how to do this just try.. That moment I remembered my mother showing me as a child how to use her machine, while she made clothes. Took me some practice & I now make custom embroidered patches from my studio. Each patch is made on my Brother Machine and rendered threw a Hatch Welcome program. The process is tedious at times but it keeps me busy. Each patch is made from dominated clothes from all over as I share my story. I've found purpose in sharing again and I truly love it.
