I imagine I was drawing as soon as I could hold a pen, and due to my nearsightedness have always drawn pictures and logos too small for some, just right for others. Before the internet I would draw maps for friends to find places I wanted them to see or visit. I found these maps years later and realized they were too interesting for a dusty file cabinet, but what would others think?

My magnets started as a natural off-shoot to my hand-drawn maps, which have been slowly growing since I began making them in 2010. As I researched I found lots of cheap magnets out there that were barely powerful enough to hold themselves up, let alone a note or picture. I'm proud that each item: magnet + art + adhesive + glass - all come locally from California and the magnets are hand-made right here in the Golden State.
