Announcement   Welcome to the World of Imagery Glass Art. Design your outfit by the glass you wear!

Our light-weight, colorful earrings can be worn at any time of year. Artist David Reilly uses his skills and imagination in order to create wearable glass art, shaped with the flame of a torch and one tool. Since all annealing is flamed, the scale of work is smaller than of hot glass work so with this approach, it allows for a good amount of detail in every piece. We use surgical steel findings for all earrings.

Our wearables will compliment any fashion you like so custom orders are always welcome. Most colors are available in all designs so many customers will choose their colors and commission us to create their desired theme. With a minimum order, some designs can be sold at wholesale prices.

In addition to our glass wearables, we offer decor to embellish windows and potted plants. We have pieces specifically designed as suncatchers and most pendants can also be hung as a suncatcher. To dress up house plants, our unique plant stakes can be inserted into any potted plant or vase of flowers.

Handling and Care: The wonderfully unexpected attribute to handling our glass is that it makes you smarter! When handling, don't be afraid to hold the glass. If your glass becomes dusty, wipe with a soft cloth or spray the glass with alcohol. With a little conscious care, your glass wearables will be there for a lifetime to wear with pleasure!

Shipping and Delivery: We use light weight packing materials for each order and we ship each order by U.S. Postal Service. All rates are based on shipping supply costs and shipping weight calculated per United States Postal Service guidelines. Please specify if you want insurance or quick delivery and prices will be recalculated. For international orders, the purchaser is responsible for any additional fees, customs fees, tariffs or penalties.

All Imagery Glass pieces are hand-made and free-form by David Reilly. We ship within 3-5 business days.

Return Policy: Due to the custom nature of our products, we are unable to honor returns, refunds, or exchanges. If you should have any problem with the piece, please let us know within 5 business days.

Disclaimer: If you are in immediate need of a custom order, be sure to let us know the date in advance of placing the order. Shipping times begin after the product has actually shipped. Imagery Glass Art is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.

About

Imagery Glass - Wearable Glass Art and Creations

I became interested in glass when I was six. Eighteen years later, I apprenticed as a scientific glass blower with an international electronics corporation where I eventually headed R & D glass for the development group. I also did some independent work for NASA involving vacuum tube technology and the use of fiber optics. I resigned from my position with the company in 1986 for a more immersed involvement in the world of glass art. Soon after, my Imagery Glass business was created.

The Approach
I use mostly Moretti glass, a flame, one tool, my skills and my imagination to create my art. Since all annealing is flamed, the scale of work is smaller than of hot glass work. With this approach, I can create a good amount of detail in each piece, allowing for several kinds of uses.

The Designs
I began with the wearable idea: earrings, pendants, broaches, buttons, and multi-piece necklaces. Since I'll approach any design idea, I decided to create items such as stir sticks, stem-wear design, chain pulls and plant stakes. From there came the collectibles, self standing pieces and such. My bigger projects involve a gathering of many finished pieces that are then mounted to a base to form a theme, like Eden. These projects can range from a single mounted piece to many.
