Brian is truly gifted and a fabulous artist! I purchased two spiral cross coasters that were absolutely beautiful. Furthermore, I had Brian work on a custom order that totally exceeded my expectations! From idea, to sketches to the final custom product--he made the process effortless and kept in communication throughout the development of the piece. When it arrived, it was absolutely phenomenal!!! I will not hesitate to order from Brian again and can wholeheartedly recommend him and his truly beautiful works of art!

About

Imagined Glass - Decorative Etched Art Glass for Interior and Architectural Design Features

I've been working in glass for over 15 years now. I started off in a glass studio in Pittsburgh, PA after graduating with an Associate Degree in Industrial Design Technologies from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. At the time I learned various techniques in sandblasting on glass.

After a year and a half I decided to move back to my hometown of Canton, OH and began working in a stained glass and mosaic studio continuing to enjoy the art and craftmanship while bringing my other skills into the mix.

I still work for the studio, but at one point I wanted to work on developing my own glass art. That's when Imagined Glass became a new dream forward. I enjoy the freedom to create whatever comes to be, and I also aspire to create beautiful custom and decorative art glass of my designs accenting interior and architectural features personalizing homes and businesses of others.

- My decorative art glass uses multistage techniques

- Depth is added when both sides of the glass are used

- Using multiple layers enhances the 3d effect of a design

- Many glassworks included here are functional, as well as being a beautiful home interior accent

- To learn more of some of the techniques I use, you can click on the Shop Blog button on the right >

I have a limited set of designs shown in my studio, yet there is a limitless direction for the imagination to create and discover new ideas and works of art.

Thank you for supporting Imagined Glass.

    Owner, Designer, Artist

I am a glass artist specializing in etched glass. I design and create custom work and premade artwork: coasters, paperweights, tabletops, windows, doors, wall hangings, coffee tables, and other decorative interior design features for homes, businesses, and architectural buildings (churches, mausoleums, restaraunts, etc.) I have over 15 years of experience in the glass field. I currently do the etching as an alternate and personal development while working full time for a stained glass studio. imaginedglass@hotmail.com

Additional policies and FAQs
On any of my items listed in duplicates I try to note that the designs are the same but are done individually, so there may be slight variances in them between pieces. They are not simply machine stamped. They are art pieces. Items listed such as coasters or paperweights are decorative pieces that have a functional use under normal conditions. I recommend that they are viewed as an art piece first before you decide to lay them out in such a way. If they become broken or scratched it is the risk of the buyer, and I can only offer replacement of them as a custom order.

CUSTOM and SPECIAL ORDERS

* Contact me with your ideas for a custom art glass design.

* Once it is agreed upon to do the work I ask for a 50% commitment on most work and remaining payment due before your item(s) is to be shipped. This will be listed and reserved for you.

* If it is specific to you alone and determined that it could not be sold to others easily, I must ask for a full payment before full production.

- The first thing is to contact me to discuss the specifics (i.e. size, subject matter, times, cost, how it can be translated into glass, etc.)

- I will do initial sketches without obligation. Once it has been approved and payment has been made, I will send images of the final piece and ship it out ASAP. Any changes at this point will be difficult if not impossible to make. Adding something as an afterthought - if it can be done - will require an interim payment before it is reworked.

- Adding elements such as names, monograms, etc. to an existing design are considered Special Orders and I will list a reserve for you. Costs will vary on the complexity of any design.

- Adding quantities of an item that is available will be listed at the same price of in-stock items. I don't mass produce, but can accommodate larger orders with longer lead times. Some designs are retired and will be limited to its production.
