InLemn Studio reimagines discarded furniture and transforms reclaimed materials into contemporary objects.
Not restoration. Reinterpretation.
Our practice emerged through work around heritage, material culture, and the belief that objects can continue their story through transformation rather than replacement.
We do not restore furniture — we reinterpret it. Each piece begins with recovered materials selected for their grain, marks, wear, and history. Through contemporary interventions, forgotten furniture becomes collectible racers, wearable objects, reimagined furniture, and small-batch pieces designed to be kept, used, and passed on.
Working primarily with reclaimed furniture and recovered wood, we preserve traces of previous lives instead of hiding them. Variations, imperfections, and material memory are not flaws — they are part of the object.
Crafted in small batches and finished using natural oils and water-based finishes, each piece remains one of a kind.
