E assim começa......

Começou com um saco de telhas Mahjong encontradas em um brechó...

"Hmmmm, deve ser algo que eu possa fazer com isso". Acabei colando um selo postal vintage na telha, adicionei um pouco de esmalte, uma fiança e uma corrente de bola.

Mais tarde naquela semana, fui parado por uma mulher que perguntou onde eu consegui o pingente......"Eu fiz isso...". "Você poderia fazer um para mim?" Eu poderia...". E esse foi o começo...

Vendi milhares de pingentes através de lojas de varejo, e agora os ofereço em etsy. Faço isso há seis anos, e ainda faço cada colar à mão, um de cada vez no meu estúdio, com veados, codornas, faisão e uma marmota ocasional como vizinhos.

It started with a bag of Mahjong tiles found at a thrift shop....

"Hmmmm, must be something I can do with these". I ended up gluing a vintage postage stamp to the tile, added some glaze, a bail and ball chain.

Later that week, I was stopped by a woman who asked where I got the pendant......"I made it...". "Could you make one for me?"....."I could...". And that was the start of it......

I have sold thousands of pendants through retail stores, and now offer them on etsy. I have been doing this for six years, and I still make each necklace by hand, one at a time in my home studio, with deer, quail, pheasant and an occasional marmot as neighbors.
