Frequently asked questions

What kind of clay do you use?

I currently use Premo Sculpey clay for all of my polymer clay pieces.

Are your findings nickel free?

All of the metal findings are nickel free, except for the pin backs (they are currently nickel plated). I make sure to buy nickel free findings for metal that will be in contact with skin for extended periods, but I can’t guarantee there aren’t trace amounts of other metals as they aren’t stated to be more than nickel free on the packaging.

What type of paw print is your logo?

It’s an ermine/stoat paw! Weasels are a favorite animal of mine.

Why the “N” in InkNPaw? Aren’t you Ink “&” Paw?

Etsy doesn’t allow symbols like the ampersand in usernames, and InkandPaw was more clunky visually and less clear. Since a capital “N” is often used in place of “and” or “&”, we went that direction for clarity and simplicity.
