With pencil in hand I quickly sketch and draw with ink, the artwork that will make designs to fill your home.

My name is Jeanette Jackson, the artist behind Ink & Blue Jeans. Drawing with ink, painting with watercolor and gouache are my favorite supplies to create. In these days of digital art, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are other tools I use to present it to the world.

Since my early childhood I have always love art. As a gift to me in my pre-teens years, a dear uncle paid Jamaican $0.25 each Saturday for me to paint with temper paint from 900 AM to 12-noon as long as I can remember. It was my happy days! I even sew, craft and decorate custom cakes also because its how I express the creativity in me.

Creating this Etsy Store to sell wallpaper, fabric and home décor with my artwork on them is how I share with the world the things that make me happy. In so doing it becomes a chain reaction, where that essence of love and joy I feel in my work can find a place in your home. Then your family and friends will see it and share in it too. So it's passed on and on.
