When I found out I was pregnant in December of 2009, I couldn't wait to find out if it was a boy or a girl. A few weeks later, my husband and I were on pins and needles...we were told...it's going to be a Girl!! We were overjoyed!!!

The excitement and sewing started right away.

My mother and I had so much fun looking at fabric and going through patterns (Patterns that she has had for Years) to see what we would make.

While I was pregnant with my daughter in the HOT summer of 2010, my mother was busy making and crafting cute, quality, one of a kind creations.
Before we knew it the little bun in the oven had a closet FULL of so many cute things.

The beginning of August I welcomed my little girl and my mom welcomed her third Grandchild into the world.
She was 5lbs 14.9 oz ~~ a tiny little thing. So all those clothes that filled her closet were just to big for her. Addison was so little and by the time that she grew into some of the clothes, the seasons had changed. A cute sundress in October just doesn't work so well at keeping a baby warm.
So now with inventory coming out of the wazoo ... we thought ... what do we do??
What do we do with all those items, all handmade and all one of a kind??
Well we found Etsy.

Living in Murrells Inlet off the Coast of SC the name Inlet Kids was only fitting.
So Inlet Kids was born only two shorts months after Addison was.
Call us crazy or (me) sleep deprived at the time, but we figured what the heck let's give it a try.

Now here we are -- Inlet Kids and Addison are growing a little each day and we thank you all for the support as we hope it to grow more and more in the future.
