Superb work and customer service. The customized xl coffee mug for my father is exactly what I wanted. The time you took to make this and communicate with me about all the details made this Etsy shopping experience. I will definitely be a returning customer.

About

A girl and her clay...it's a simple story

I've always loved art and was a painter for many years. I had always wanted to learn ceramics and I dabbled around for a while, but in 2011 I experienced a sudden tragic loss that left me feeling helpless. I turned to my only vice - art. In particular, ceramics were calling my name so I threw myself into making pottery. Somehow through the creation process of taking raw clay and forming it into something beautiful, I realized this was my therapy. I worked night after night throwing on the wheel, blasting music and creating through the energy of my loss. My early work as a ceramic artist reflects the emotion I was feeling at the time.

Now, I'm happy to share what a healing tool art can be to others. I teach a fun evening class at my community studio and host pottery studio events for kids and adults that want something new and fun to learn.

Payment
I am so pleased that you chose to purchase one of my items today. At this time, I accept PayPal, credit cards and Etsy Gift cards as a method of payment. Payment is due at time of purchase. Items will not be shipped unless payment has been processed.
Shipping
All items $15 and above are shipped (within the states) priority mail with delivery confirmation.

Items will be shipped to the address filled out on the ETSY transaction unless other wise stated by buyer in message to seller.

All my orders are shipped with a USPS tracking number. Once the package has been shipped I can not be responsible for it. Large orders will be insured against damage or loss.

For overseas orders, please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred. Although you have a USPS tracking number, it's only good until it gets to the border. I have no way of tracking beyond that point, so consider this risk before ordering. I can only estimate the time to make your item and ship it on my end. Shipping beyond the U.S. will take longer to arrive.
Refunds and Exchanges
If your item has been insured, and there is damage during shipping, a picture of the broken item along with ALL packaging materials is needed from you for me to make a claim. Money will be refunded once claim with post office is settled. I am happy to recreate an item for you, however it will not be an identical piece to the item you purchased.

Custom orders are non-refundable. Postage is not refunded.

Overseas orders: orders shipping first class have no ins. against loss. I will have proof of being sent through the post office to show, but will not be responsible for overseas loss.
Additional policies and FAQs
With my handbuilt pottery and clay jewelry, please be aware that each item is unique and one of a kind even if the style is the same, or appears to be matching another piece. Clay is a special medium and does not allow for identical production of pieces. My items are hand made. All pieces are glazed with nontoxic materials but are left unglazed on the bottom to prevent the items from adhering to the kiln shelf.

Thank you for choosing to shop with Inspired Journey today. We wish you happiness and inspiration in all that you do.
