Handmade specialty candles and crystals, made with love in Waco,TX.

Interstellar Apothecary is a small business based in Waco, Texas, specializing in handmade, artisan candles and original bismuth crystal creations. During the pandemic, I decided to expound on my love of whimsical, fun, food themed candles, and bismuth crystal creations, thus Interstellar Apothecary was born! With the world going through such uncertain times, I decided to create a company that would put a smile on people’s faces, and help them create fun, meaningful memories with friends and family through gifts and home decor.

Hi I’m Tara Matthews-Hessel. Recently married in Grand Canyon Village, Arizona on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. I have a wonderful husband, Evan, and 4 fur babies who take up most of my time when I’m not creating or traveling! I love whimsy!
