It's Beautiful. Thank you.
I have a love of vintage lingerie...
The way it feels, the way it moves, the way it drapes on the body. The art of it, the history, the magic.
I watched the movie "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" and the first time I saw Elizabeth Taylor in that white slip sauntering around the room I knew I was hooked. I loved the subtle sexiness of the implied but never shown.
I am always out hunting for that perfect nightgown, that lovely robe, that sexy bra. If you want it I probably have it just drop me a note and lets converse!

My love of vintage started with sweaters... a love that continues to this day. Over the years I have found that I really have an eye and an understanding of vintage lingerie. You could call it a passion of sorts!
***** When cleaning vintage lingerie I use a large wash tub, fragrance free mild laundry soap and a fragrance free fabric softner like Downey. I lightly swish them in the tub, rinse, add the fabric softner, rinse again. Let the items drip dry and then remove them from the tub and lie them flat on a towel. Roll the towel around the items and squish to remove as much moisture as possible. Hang on a soft hanger and dry - in a bathroom is good. I don't recommend ironing - if you must reduce wrinkles hang the item in the bathroom while you are in the shower and stretch the fabric back into place. This preserves the fabric so that you can get many years of use of your garment. Many vintage fabrics are man made - like nylon, acetate, and rayon. These fabrics can change shape and appearance when heated. Dryers and irons can ruin vintage fabrics so use them as little as possible to keep your garment fresh, soft, and beautiful!

I can fit a lot of things in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope which is $6.00 anywhere in the US and is pretty quick to get to you. Stockings, slips, bras, and smaller items can go first class and this will be an option listed if it is available on an item. I will combine items just contact me and we can work out the least expensive option. I pack my items in plastic sealable bags and can get them quite flat so that quite a number of items can be fit into a box. The baggies used protect your items from moisture and can be reused.
Should you absolutely need something overnight I can do that through USPS Express mail - just contact me. It will cost more for shipping but can be done.
I ship to the address listed on your Paypal or Etsy account. For anything over 100.00 I will need to see that your account with Paypal is confirmed and the address verified.

How to measure for a correct fit:
Womens Bust & Hip - Use a tape measure to measure at the fullest part of the bust for bust measurement, the narrowest point of the waist for waist measurement, and the fullest part of the hip (usually 9 inches from waist) for the hip measurement. Take these measurements while wearing your usual undergarments.
Bras: Measuring Your Band Size
Holding the measuring tape gently but firmly, measure around your bra directly under your bust after expelling all air from your lungs - you want this measurement to be as small as possible. Look in a mirror to assure the tape is parallel to the floor. The position of your tape measure is critical here. If you have the tape too high, your measurement will be too large; too low and it's too small.
Bras: Measuring your cup size
Standing straight, with your arms at your side, measure around your body at the fullest part of your bust while keeping the tape measure parallel with the floor. Do not wear a bra that is padded or is a minimizer. And, make sure the apex of your breasts are half-way between your shoulder and your elbow. Note to women with D cup sizes or larger: If your best fitting bra is too tight around your bust, you can also take this measurement without a bra, but hold your breasts up with your hands to where you feel they should be. Have someone else then measure around your fullest part.
2. Wrap the tape measure around you so that it is just touching, but not binding. If one of your breasts is significantly larger, put some type of padding in the cup of the smaller breast to make it even with the larger breast before taking your measurement.
3. Round up or down to the nearest inch as you did to find your band size.
4. Now, subtract your band size measurement from this second measurement. The difference is your cup size.? Example: 38" - 34" (band size) = 4" = D cup size. The chart below shows you how to determine cup size.
If The Difference Is: Your Standard Cup Size Is:
0"-1/2" (1.3 cm) AA
1/2"- 1" (2.6 cm) A
2" (5.1 cm) B
3" (7.6 cm) C
4" (10.2 cm) D
5" (12.7 cm) DD * or E *
6" (15.2 cm) DDD * or F *
7" (17.8 cm) G *
8" (20.3 cm) H *
9" (22.9 cm) I *
10" (25.4 cm) J *
