Welding, hand cut, and CNC metal art
Welcome to Iowa Rustic Iron! Where you will find a variety of metal art, all made by me!
Growing up, I learned to weld and use a wide variety of tools in my family's repair shop. I now work full time doing payroll, book keeping, and inventory. Most of the work we do supports local farmers and other small businesses, which I love.
Late 2018 I decided to start my own little business making metal art, and "Iowa Rustic Iron" was born! I started out making horseshoe art, which soon lead to hand cutting jackolanterns out of "junk", and corrugated tin.
In early 2020 we decided to add a CNC plasma table to the shop, which I operate to make small batch parts, as well as artwork! I take pride in all of my creations, but I am especially proud of being able to bring this new skill to the family business, and to you!
The family business has had a huge impact on me, but I also love operating my own crafting business. Every single step of the process is done by me personally. From designing, fabricating, and shipping!
