  • Castor Ivan

    Owner

Hey lmao. My name is Castor, and I'm a queer artist living in Portland. I like to make a lot of things with my hands and experiment with art styles, so etsy seemed like the right place to let some of my art energy go.

  • Bee

    The Heart And Soul

My fiery son! Bee provides emotional support and cuddles for the team.

Frequently asked questions
Custom Buttons

A couple of my listings are open to request - namely, the pride related ones. I promise it's no trouble if you'd like to request a custom order. Pins are made to order, so the only extra work is in creating a design and I've already got a template for them. This applies to questions of font, message (for example, the pronoun pins: I've made a few "they/he" pins), etc. Most of the time, I'll have a design already made up if it's pride related, but the number of people who purchase it is too low to merit its own listing since the listings expire. Trust me, I feel that struggle. Pan, nonbinary person here.

Transparency

From time to time, I'll make a special listing where the profits will go towards a charity at the end of the month. I set up a complicated excel document that subtracts the cost of materials and shipping for me, so I can figure out exactly how much to give (rounded up to the nearest dollar) by imputing the number of sales. None of profit is pocketed and I'm more than willing to share the excel document for transparency.

Comic Con

I've been attending San Diego Comic Con since 2017. During the convention, my shop is on hiatus. I hate to make you guys wait on orders, and it's easier on me if orders to accumulate after that time. I still check in nightly if I have the time, but I can't promise when or how frequently. Typically, I shut it down the Tuesday evening before the convention, and everything'll be back on track the following Tuesday morning.

Gift wrapping and packaging

H*ck yeah I'll do it. Gifts are fun. I can make little cards to go with the occasion, wrap it, bubblewrap it, whatever you want.

Care instructions

OKAY listen up! If you have a sock monkey, you clean that baby by! hand! Toss em in the dryer to make it warm and fluffy. It'll hold up, I promise. If not, ship it back to me, I'll make repairs. Speaking of...

Repairs

My sock monkeys are resilient little soldiers, but if anything happens to them like your dog rips the arm off or your cat rips a button loose, I'll fix it. You pay for the shipping to me and I'll pay for it back to you. Though, most superficial damages like that can be fixed pretty easily, so you can shoot me a message and I'll tell you how to do it if you like! For my fellow do-it-yourself-ers out there :)

Cleaning Buttons

I have made my mistakes on this. Trust me. Do not use white vinegar on the buttons. It will disintegrate the pin part, and you'll just be left with a shiny, unwearable disc. If a button gets seriously damaged or dirtied, send me a message. We can figure out a replacement* plan for wear-and-tear situations.
