Art making as self healing

The Iris
Vincent Van Gogh struggled his entire life with mental illness, and throughout his life many of his paintings focused on the iris. This flower has since been adopted by many mental health organizations and advocacy groups as a symbol of mental illness.

Emily Wittenstein is a Pittsburgh-based artist and art educator whose brother passed away in 2014 from suicide.

A percentage of the proceeds from every sale will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Stay tuned for more products, including screen prints, clothing, and ceramics!
