This figurine is very well made. I am blind and I'm studying Irish history during the Easter Rising of 1916. I thought to help my studies I would get this figure of Padraig Pearse. My mom described the detail of this figurine and by feeling the way he is standing I understand that he was a proud and brave man. I also like the name plaque. I received this figurine very quickly within 12 days here in Pennsylvania. It came very well packaged and in great condition.

It looks exactly like on the picture. Very good quality, in pewter. It's not common to find a napoleonic drummer, and this one is perfect!

I received this item all the way from Ireland in a very timely manner and was thrilled with the detail in it. A wonderful little piece that I know the recipient will treasure.

A Swedish company that became an Irish phenomena.

Our business was originally started in Sweden in the 60's and in the mid 70's the son of the founder moved to Southern Ireland and gradually moved all production there.
Prince August is a manufacturer of toy soldier moulds, that allow our customers to hand cast metal miniatures at home at their leisure. Later on a visitor center was built to cope with the many thousands of curious visitors that came to view Ireland's only Toy Soldier Factory.
We realised quickly that some of these customers preferred to have miniatures pre-cast and painted as gifts and souvenirs of their visit to our corner of Ireland. We now have an impressive range of miniatures and chess sets that are either antique finished or hand painted in glorious colour.
All our staff are local and all painting is done at the factory itself. Sometimes we recruit additional painters to help us cover the extra busy period around the summer months.

The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and the names of the characters, items, events and places therein, are trademarks of The Saul Zaentz Company d/b/a Middle-earth Enterprises under license to Mithril Miniatures since 1987.

Returns must be returned in a saleable condition and packed the same way as received.
