The mask is as fantastic as it is beautiful. The mask won the mask contest at the masquerade where it made it's debut. I received all positive comments the whole night in regards to the mask. When I first tried the mask I was a bit concerned that the mask would not hold as I have been rocking my bald look. Satin and a fresh shaved head do not work well in the game of friction. I had to come up with a creative way to keep the mask on my head and how to affix the veil as I have been rocking my shaved look. Once I overcame this hurdle the mask looked amazing. I will definitely reuse it in the future. For anyone with hair, even stubble, the satin ribbon should hold nicely without needing a creative wardrobe enhancement. If you have super short hair and you wish to wear the veils provided attach them to the satin ribbon.
Designor And Creator Of Unique Womens Accessories
Since I was a child I always was fascinated with handmade accessories.
In those days we didn't have the internet so I never really got myself off of the ground.
I learned how to crochet at a very young age from my mother. I am now a highly experienced crocheter.
A few years ago I started planning what I could sell here on Etsy that used my talents it would have to be something that I was very comfortable with.
I remembered the beautiful dolls that women in my family or friends would crochet and then sit them on their beds. Some were large which I found to not be attractive. So, I thought how can I change that? I visited a craft store one day and happened to come across these beautiful patterns for Barbie sized dolls. From those patterns I designed my own basic pattern and designed and made some dolls. I never know what the end result will be!
Then, I started thinking again. What else can I design and create? Then the idea of bridal fascinators came to mind. I actually didn't know they were called fascinators!
So after two years here I still am and excited and enthusiastic as ever! The excitement that I receive after a sale is so worth all the hard work.
There are cards and letters that I have received from the ladies that have purchased from me that really touch my heart.
Of course I give credit and glory to God. For I use no pattern to create these headpieces. There are months where I do no designing then, there comes periods where I cant stop creating!
Thank you for reading my biography.
