5 out of 5 starsI received the teak wood tray in excellent condition and in rapid fashion. Considering that this tray was made sometime in the 1960's it is in excellent condition - almost brand new. I was thinking of using it daily to replace a cheap plastic tray that is cracked, but I'm not sure I want to risk damaging this one.
About IrvinaVintage
The Story of Irvina Vintage
Irvina Vintage was inspired by a mid century love story; the love of a husband, Irv, for his wife, Ina. A testament to his love, Irv hand-built a delightful nest in Mankato, Minnesota: a flat-roof rambler made of concrete, Kasota Stone, and seemingly endless square feet of wood paneling, that overlooks the Minnesota River valley. When he was finished––and his jacket no longer fit him due to his overworked muscles––Irv had given his wife a perfect place to furnish, decorate, and fill with all the joys of 1960s homemaking.
For the next 50 years, Irv and Ina lived out their lives in this house. Then, we were blessed to buy it from their children in a well-preserved state––a “time capsule” home with original laminate countertops and bright floral wallpaper in the kitchen, built-ins upon quirky built-ins (including a narrow card-table closet housed below the magazine display), Danish Modern light fixtures, a pink bathroom, and shag carpet in the bedrooms.
Seeing the care and love that went into this rare home, we jumped at the opportunity to buy it. Since moving in, we have discovered we love treasure hunting for original vintage pieces from the Mid Century Modern era. We opened our Etsy shop, Irvina Vintage, so that we could share some of our enjoyment with others.
Thank you for visiting, and happy shopping!

Shipping
This shop ships via USPS by either Media Mail, Standard (Parcel) Post, First Class or Priority Mail. Usually the shipping method is based on the cheapest or most economical cost. In some scenarios, the cheapest is also the fastest; this typically includes any order weighing 2 pounds or less, or anything over 3 pounds that can be safely shipped in a Flat Rate sized box. Special shipping arrangements can be made by contacting the shop.
Insurance may be purchased upon request, but is not included otherwise, unless stated specifically in the listing.
Shipping costs are rounded up to the next dollar amount to offset handling charges (ex: $9.88 becomes $10.00). Refunds in shipping overcharges are given at the shop owners' discretion. Variances over $1 will be refunded, with the exception of larger orders requiring more than usual amounts of packing materials.
Any shipping costs that are underestimated will be absorbed by the shop. Customers will never be invoiced or asked to pay a higher shipping fee, unless a faster, more expensive shipping method is requested by the customer.
