Shipped on time, as promised. Seller was very responsive to my requests for status updates (purchased this for a friend who loves turtles.) Mug is very solid, definitely looks like something I spent some $ on (perhaps looks like I spent more on it than I actually did-- looks like an artwork.) Makes a great gift and is not the sort of thing you will find just anywhere. You can tell it is hand crafted by a real artisan which makes it great for a gift (doesn't have a "manufactured" look.) Turtle on the side was somewhat smaller than in the picture but this did not detract from the look and I assume variation should be expected as it is hand made to order. Arrived securely packaged to prevent breakage. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again.

This is a beautiful and useful yarn bowl. The craftsmanship is superb. It is big enough to hold my entire yarn ball with plenty of room for it to move as I crochet. The love birds are darling. The only thing keeping me from loving the piece is the color. It was supposed to be blue with hints of brown but is instead brown with small areas of blue.

About

Inspired by Nature & Tropical Dreams

My work emerges from my love of nature and all things magical. I was the kid who always had a sketchbook in hand, creating my enchanted forests filled with unicorns, dragons and secret passageways. I’m still that kid at heart and I endeavor to express that in my work.

I am drawn to tropical, equestrian and magical motifs. They are done with a touch of “Wabi Sabi”– creating beauty in things unconventional. My work brings warmth, and whimsy into everyday spaces. I work with earthenware, and stoneware clays and fire in one of my three electric kilns.

All my work is created entirely in my studio from the original design to the finished product.
I am fortunate to live in Florida where great blue herons, egrets, wood storks, and their friends come and visit my backyard and provide inspiration.

Past gigs include a 7 years as an artist for Walt Disney Feature Animation/Disney Studios & over 25 years graphic design for publication and corporations
