Suzanne’s love of photography began as a young girl, more than thirty years ago, when she would observe her film producer and photographer father manipulate his Nikon single lens reflex camera in ways that fascinated her at the time.

After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in architecture, she pursued her interest in photography as an artistic and creative way to document architecture and its details. This interest blossomed while she was living in Italy working on post graduate studies with the University of Georgia.

She completed her graduate work at UGA in Athens, Georgia, when she returned to the States, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in interior design. Included in her graduate studies was a comprehensive course on the history of Twentieth Century photography. Soon after graduation her fine art colour and monochrome photography was selling commercially and being exhibited in galleries throughout the United States.

Suzanne’s photography continues to be exhibited in galleries throughout the United States and her photographs are published regularly in national and international magazines and books. Getty Images and Flickr Marketplace currently offer her photographs for worldwide licensing. Her photography has also been licensed on fine art prints, posters, note cards, and stationery.

Suzanne’s work includes commercial, fine art, and still photography. Projects have included marketing photography for small businesses; installations of her fine art photographs in medical offices; original photography for advertising campaigns; packaging for products; business logos; and architectural and interior detail photos. She shoots in both colour and monochrome using SLR, digital, and Polaroid cameras.

During a break from her architecture and interior design work to be with her new baby, Suzanne opened her Etsy Boutique in 2008. Etsy and her other online shops offer a platform that keep her creative and have been the perfect venue for for her to sell not only her photography, but also an endless supply of her handmade and one-of-a-kind gifts she creates.
