Where it all began...
A few years ago Nate & I (Timmi), decided we had had enough of the 9-5 life style. But, we knew we couldn't just walk away from something that paid the bills. Especially because, at the time, we had three little mouths to feed. So we decided to do what seemed the next logical step. We would start a part-time, home based business. Now the question was, where do start and what could we do?
We knew what our talents were and what we were passionate about. Nate's a very hard worker and has always been good with his hands. Plus, he's unbelievably creative and is always thinking outside of the box. I attended culinary school and have always had an intense love for creating things that stimulate the senses. So, after months of prayer and searching we came across our perfect match, the Art of Soap Making.
We dove in head first, devouring every little bit of information we could get our hands on. We asked ourselves, "What products do people want? Can we improve these products? and How can we make ours the best on the market?" As we began to answer these questions, we saw a trend in the thought that less is more. And, we completely agree!
That's why we try to keep our products as simple & natural as possible. We never microwave any of our ingredients. ( A common practice in the industry to speed melting time). We make every effort to avoid synthetic ingredients but, sometimes we have customer demand for products that can only be achieved by using some of these things. We don't, however, hide our ingredients from our customers. We want you to know exactly what you're putting on your skin. So, if you want to know what's in a particular product, just check the products description for a complete list of ingredients.
We only use the highest quality plant derived oils. And our palm oil is from an earth friendly, sustainable source because we think the rain forests are important and are worth saving.
A lot of our products are also vegan friendly. In fact, we are currently only using milk and beeswax in the production of some of our products. Want to know which ones? Just check the items description to find out.We also want you to know that our products are all made and packaged in a pet and smoke free home.
We're very proud of our little growing business. Working together isn't always easy. And, at times it's can be downright stressful. But, at the end of the day we both agree, there's no one else we'd rather share this experience with.

Owner, Maker, Designer
We are a husband and wife team who run a growing soap business with our four beautiful daughters. We create all of our specialty skin care products by hand from our humble home in a suburb outside of Chicago.
Our darling daughter, the oldest of the bunch. She is always willing to lend a helping hand & is quite good at child wrangling when my hands are full. She helps in production area prep, product labeling & has become quite good at fragrance blending.
Our second daughter is constantly asking questions and offering to help in any way she can. She has become my go to girl for color combinations as she has an amaing eye for it. She also helps in product stocking.
Break Time Coordinator
Holly is our third and resident wild child. She is a ball of energy and is always reminding us that our busy lives sometimes need to be intuerrupted for spontaneous laughter and hugs.
Sensative Skin Advisor
Our youngest and newest addition has reminded us that some people need extra sensitive products for problem skin. She is the reason we will soon be bringing more fragrance and color free products to our line.
After almost four years Ivy Coreen is getting a face lift! We're excited about our re-brand as we'll be bringing in a lot of awesome new products with amazing professionally printed labels. To make this happen, we're clearing out all of our current stock to make room for the new. That mean super low pricing for you! So, grab your favorites while they last.
