These necklaces were custom made for me and my friends, and they were so beautiful -- exactly what I was hoping for when I described the idea. My friends absolutely loved them and I'm so happy to have a unique set of necklaces. <3 Thank you again!

About

Ivy & Gold Handcraft: Unique + Timeless Artisan Jewelry

Ivy & Gold Handcraft is a collection of limited production and one of a kind jewelry pieces. Each piece is carefully handcrafted utilizing a variety of materials including, sterling silver, brass, gold, enamel, and semi precious stones. Ivy & Gold features jewelry inspired by antiquity, culture, and the everyday.

Shop owner, Ashley Eaton attended SUNY New Paltz and immediately fell in love with the art of metalsmithing. In 2006, she graduated with a BFA in Metal. After working in the field doing production and as a bench jeweler, Ashley longed to craft her own jewelry designs.

In 2008, Ashley joined up with fellow SUNY New Paltz alum and best pal, Emily Sajban, to form their jewelry shop Torch Song Metals. After 5 glorious years of being inspired by and working along side her best friend, Ashley relocated her studio to Chicago, IL to be with her husband in 2013. Thus, Ivy & Gold Handcraft was born. Emily ended up relocating as well and now runs her shop, Bon Fire Craft (http://www.etsy.com/shop/BonFireCraft) out of her brick and mortar studio shop of the same name in Buffalo, Ny.

Ashley is currently working out of her new studio in Syracuse,NY.

Your happiness with a purchase from my shop is important to me! If an item did not reach your expectations when it arrives, please message me before leaving negative or neutral feedback. I will gladly do what I can to make it right as your happiness with my work is important to me. I can replace, repair, re-size, re-patina any piece to your liking.

▼RETURNS
In the event that you, my customer, would like to return and be refunded for a purchase, I can make that possible on most jewelry pieces (excludes custom jewelry and piercing jewelry). All that I ask is that the item be returned to me in its original state within a month of purchase. Once I have received the piece in it's original state I will refund the purchase price of the jewelry. At this time, I am not able to return the cost of shipping, only the jewelry purchase price.

All Custom orders and personalized jewelry (i.e.- name jewelry) are final sale and unfortunately can not be returned or exchanged.

All piercing jewelry (i.e. - tragus and nose studs) The customer is responsible for obtaining information concerning what style and gage is suitable for their piercing. If you are uncertain about what would be best, please speak to a piercing professional before purchasing any piercing jewelry. All piercing jewelry is FINAL SALE ONLY and can not be returned for a refund. All jewelry can be re-adjusted at the customers request. I understand that everyone's piercings are different and that sometimes the standard sizes I create may not always be perfect for everyone. Please message me to arrange for adjustments to be made to your piercing jewelry.

▼JEWELRY CARE▼

All of Ivy & Gold Handcraft's silver jewelry is cast or fabricated from solid sterling. Sterling silver (.925) is comprised of 925 parts fine (pure) silver and 75 parts copper- it is completely NICKEL-FREE and will not give you a allergic reaction. Be reminded that some pieces are purposely antiqued (patinaed, oxidized) for a vintage or antiqued look . Some pieces with lots of direct contact with the skin (such as a ring) may loose a little of their oxidation on you, but it is not harmful and will wash off. Bright polished silver may be cleaned with a liquid silver polish, whereas antiqued pieces should should only be shined with a soft silver polishing cloth. Pieces that contain pearls or soft stones should not be dipped in a chemical cleaner. I recommend that you do not wear any pieces in the shower or a chlorinated pool since the chlorine can alter the oxidization levels. I also recommend that you do not sleep in your jewelry because it can become entangled, snagged, and possibly broken – which isn't good for you or your jewelry. Any other metals used (such as brass and copper) can cause green staining on the skin, but it is harmless and will wash off with soap and water. If you are concerned about a metal reaction or have other jewelry care questions please feel free to contact me prior to ordering.

If you have any other questions regarding the maintenance of your pieces, please message me!
