No abrí esta tienda porque siempre hubiera soñado con tener un negocio de camisetas.

Lo empecé porque he dedicado gran parte de mi vida a intentar comprender a la gente, incluyéndome a mí mismo.

Soy enfermera, madre, escritora, investigadora, creadora y una persona con una curiosidad insaciable. Mi formación en enfermería me enseñó sobre el cuerpo y el cerebro. Mi propia vida despertó mi curiosidad por todo aquello que no encaja en los libros de texto: psicología, neurodivergencia, inteligencia emocional, relaciones, espiritualidad, consciencia, resiliencia y la singular experiencia de simplemente estar viva.

Finalmente, todos esos intereses comenzaron a chocar.

Esa colisión se convirtió en Cerebro, Alma y Fuente.

El “Cerebro” representa mi pasión por la ciencia, la neurociencia, la psicología, la curiosidad y la comprensión de por qué los seres humanos hacemos lo que hacemos.

El “Alma” es la parte humana, compleja y desordenada: el amor, el dolor, el humor, las relaciones, la maternidad, el crecimiento, la creatividad y el aprendizaje de cómo llegar a ser uno mismo en su totalidad.

Y la “Fuente” es la parte que deja espacio para el asombro. El significado. La espiritualidad. La intuición. El universo. Las preguntas que tal vez nunca podamos responder, pero que aun así es increíblemente divertido plantear.

No creo que esos mundos tengan que competir entre sí.

Creo que podemos comprender nuestro sistema nervioso y, al mismo tiempo, buscar significado en las estrellas. Podemos valorar la ciencia y la intuición. Podemos sanar y, a la vez, ser extravagantes. Podemos ser personas profundamente reflexivas que, sin embargo, se distraen a mitad de una tarea porque nuestro cerebro descubre una misión secundaria.

Esa filosofía se refleja en todo lo que creo.

La mayoría de mis diseños comienzan con un pensamiento, una frase, un chiste, una reflexión o un pequeño detalle de la vida que me hace detenerme y pensar: "Alguien más tiene que sentir esto también".

Entonces yo juego.

Experimento con palabras, colores, tipografía, imágenes celestiales, gráficos retro, setas, destellos, pequeños detalles curiosos y cualquier otra cosa que encaje con la idea. Me encantan los diseños coloridos, ligeramente inesperados, significativos sin pretensiones y con una inconfundible esencia humana.

A veces, el resultado conlleva un mensaje.

A veces te hace sentir comprendido.

A veces es tan gracioso que me dan ganas de ponérmelo.

Y a veces logra hacer las tres cosas.

No me interesa crear un mundo idílico donde todos se hayan resuelto sus problemas. Me interesa mucho más el mundo real, donde aprendemos, cambiamos de opinión, nos hacemos mejores preguntas, nos distraemos, volvemos a empezar, nos reímos de nosotros mismos y descubrimos quiénes somos en el camino.

Esta tienda es una colección en constante crecimiento de objetos creados en ese lugar.

Si algo de lo que ves aquí te hace reír, pensar, sentirte comprendido o decir: "Sí, así es mi cerebro", entonces ha encontrado a la persona para la que lo hice.

Bienvenidos a Cerebro, Alma y Fuente.

Probablemente habrá misiones secundarias. ✨

I didn’t start this shop because I had always dreamed of owning a T-shirt business.

I started it because I’ve spent a lot of my life trying to understand people, including myself.

I’m a nurse, mom, writer, researcher, creator, and endlessly curious human. My background in nursing taught me about the body and the brain. My own life made me curious about everything that doesn’t fit neatly into a textbook: psychology, neurodivergence, emotional intelligence, relationships, spirituality, consciousness, resilience, and the strange experience of simply being alive.

Eventually, all of those interests started colliding.

That collision became Brain, Soul & Source.

The “Brain” is my love of science, neuroscience, psychology, curiosity, and understanding why humans do what we do.

The “Soul” is the messy human part: love, grief, humor, relationships, motherhood, growth, creativity, and learning how to become more fully yourself.

And “Source” is the part that leaves room for wonder. Meaning. Spirituality. Intuition. The universe. The questions we may never be able to answer, but that are still incredibly fun to ask.

I don’t think those worlds have to compete with each other.

I think we can understand our nervous systems and still look for meaning in the stars. We can value science and intuition. We can heal and still be ridiculous. We can be deeply thoughtful humans who also get distracted halfway through a task because our brains discovered a side quest.

That philosophy finds its way into everything I create.

Most of my designs begin with a thought, phrase, joke, realization, or tiny piece of life that makes me stop and think, “Someone else has to feel this too.”

Then I play.

I experiment with words, color, typography, celestial imagery, retro graphics, mushrooms, sparkles, strange little details, and whatever else seems to belong in that particular idea. I love designs that feel colorful, slightly unexpected, meaningful without taking themselves too seriously, and unmistakably human.

Sometimes the result carries a message.

Sometimes it makes you feel understood.

Sometimes it’s simply funny enough that I want to wear it.

And sometimes it manages to do all three.

I’m not interested in creating a perfectly polished little world where everyone has figured themselves out. I’m much more interested in the real one, where we’re learning, changing our minds, asking better questions, getting distracted, starting over, laughing at ourselves, and discovering who we are along the way.

This shop is a growing collection of things created from that place.

If something here makes you laugh, think, feel seen, or say, “Yep. That’s my brain,” then it found the person I made it for.
