With over five and a half years of experience in the cosplay community, my love for genres like steampunk, medieval fantasy, cyberpunk and much more translate into handmade leather creations. Returns and exchanges
Returns only accepted for manufacturer defect or in certain circumstances due to item misfit. All items are custom made to order unless otherwise noted, please double and triple measure before ordering an item to ensure a great fit when your item is made. Due to the nature of leather, most leather cannot be drastically resized. The burden falls upon the buyer to pay for any labor costs associated with resizing an item due to customer error when measuring for an order.

Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping charges incurred for having to return one of our products.

If an item needs to be returned, please contact us directly.

*****HOLIDAY SEASONS*****

Due to high numbers of orders, In the months of October and December, any orders placed after the first of the month may require a rush order fee in order to be made and delivered on time. Many items are made to order and we make them in order of date of purchase unless it is an item we have in stock. An item that is listed as taking 3-5 days to make may take longer than usual at this time and the processing times are not guaranteed. So if you are placing an order and need it by a certain date, please message us first. Thank you!
Payment
We accept all major credit cards and Paypal. For custom orders, we can discuss payment plans or split payment, but we always require a down payment up front before we can begin work on an order.
Shipping
All items are shipped by the United States Postal Service First Class or Parcel Post Mail. Priority (or Express) shipping and insurance are not included. If you need an item by a certain date and require priority shipping or require insurance on your item, please send us a message and we can discuss your needs. International shipping is also available by request and is subject to additional charge. Combined shipping discounts are offered for multiple items.

The shipping charge covers all costs such as postage, delivery confirmation, boxes, packing materials, labels, and labor to pack and ship out your order.

Certain items require measurements as noted in the item description. We require these measurements before an item can be created and shipped to the buyer. If you require one of these items shipped by a certain date, please message us directly.

We encourage you to ship items to a mailing address that is consistent with receiving packages. We are not responsible for items once they have been delivered and recommend that you monitor your tracking number to ensure you are available to receive your package on the day it is delivered.
Additional policies and FAQs
Leather products require special care before and during use. A common misconception is that leather products need to be "broken in" or softened before use. Hard leather products will soften naturally over time and attempts to severely bend, contort or crumple our leather may result in damage to the product or hardware or decoration attached.

If a purchased item is painted, bending, contorting or crumpling our leather may result in crackling or chipping of leather dye and/or paint. Abrasion of painted leather against rough surfaces may cause similar damage.

JAFantasyArt is not responsible for damages to our products after sale. Repair or repainting of products is possible depending on the extent of the damage. Contact us directly for advice on how to repair your damaged product or a quote on repairs.

Additionally, misuse of our product may result in injury. Leather armor is not guaranteed to withstand impact of real or simulated weapons. Our products are inedible and may result in severe medical complications from ingestion. Our products should not be used as an artificial heart. Theoretically, our products could be mistaken as a weapon during a police stand-off. We seriously doubt you will need any of these disclaimers, but hey... anything is possible.
