Announcement My handmade stoneware pottery speaks of quiet connections and modern lifestyles. I am inspired by the deep Scandinavian roots of the Wisconsin I grew up in, big Wyoming skies with sagebrush dotted hills where my children were born, and the nesting comfort of those I love. My personal voice in clay is rounded out by the playfulness of the process and my love of minimalist design.

JD Wolfe’s stoneware pottery speaks of quiet connections and modern lifestyles. She’s inspired by the Scandinavian roots of the Wisconsin she grew up in, big Wyoming skies with sagebrush dotted hills where her children were born, and the nesting comfort of those she loves. Her personal voice in clay is formed through the playfulness of the process and her love of minimalist design.
Projects she is currently working on include an ongoing installation piece for Epic in Madison, WI, the area’s largest employer and respected supporter of the arts. She has provided custom service ware for The Field Table, a hot new dining spot on the capitol square in Madison. She also works with international retailers including Pottery Barn, Anthropologie and J.Crew.
When not in her studio, she works alongside her husband on his line of Howling Wolf BBQ sauces and dry rubs sold in area natural food stores including Whole Foods.
Jennifer produces all of her pieces by hand in her private studio in Mayville, WI at the edge of the Horicon Marsh. She has a fine arts degree from the University of Wisconsin system and professional training in production pottery. You can find her and her work at the Dane County Farmers Market in Madison, WI from April through November.
Her work is also available for purchase at Hatch Art House, 1248 Williamson Street, Madison, WI and The WaxWing, 1800 E North Ave, Milwaukee, WI.

If a made-to-order or custom item is purchased along with in-stock items, the whole order will not be shipped until the made-to-order items are complete, unless you make other arrangements with me. Please check titles and descriptions carefully. If you are unsure of the estimated production time for your order, please ask. Please communicate any deadlines you may have, even if they fall beyond the estimated delivery, as there are sometimes production delays beyond my control.
For domestic orders (USA):
I use USPS Parcel Post for most of my packages. If you have a specific deadline or would like to upgrade to a faster service, just let me know. Please check the listing and/or your invoice for shipping times. All shipping times are estimates so please communicate any concerns with me at time of purchase.
For international orders:
International packages are shipped using International First Class Mail for items under 4 pounds or Priority International for heavier shipments. Please allow 4-6 weeks for the delivery of your international package.
You are responsible for all duty, customs, or any other charges imposed by your country above and beyond the USPS (United States Postal Service) postal charges that you already paid. These may be due when you pick up your package.
I will do my best to check on any restrictions of what can be shipped before I send out a package. If for some reason your purchase can not legally be sent to you, I will refund your money.
Charges for international mail can be hard to estimate. If I have over charged you for shipping, I will refund the difference.
All of my pieces are packed with care to ensure their safe arrival. I have lots of experience with shipping my work so you can feel confident that I will get your item to you safely.
I will gladly replace or refund any item that should be broken or lost in transit. I guarantee safe delivery to all addresses world wide.
I use a combination of new and clean, reused packing materials.
I do not include any sort of receipt or invoice in my packages. You can print a copy for yourself from your Etsy page, or if you ask me to, I would happily include a copy for you. (Just trying to cut down on paper waste for people who don't need one.)w
