Announcement    Hello, J.E.Moores here from JEMTOY. I have been prototyping and designing lots of nifty stuff using my Glowforge laser cutter. I wanted to share my laser designs here on Etsy, so you can join in on the fun.

I mostly make toys, pranks, games, and other interactive items. I'm not a huge fan of static art that hangs on the wall. With most of my designs, once you are done building it, then comes the part where you interact with it. It's all a sort of play to me. Anything that opens the mind through a little regression can bring on all sorts of ideas and inspiration.

Now that more people are at home with their kids, these fun projects are a great mix of science, math, physics, and play. Share some of these patterns with your wee ones and create some memories together. Explore together. They might even learn more doing this with you than if they had actually gone to school for the day.

If you do not have a Glowforge, any laser cutter that can read SVG files will do the trick. You can also open the SVG in the free program Inkscape and Save As any file type you need. Many libraries and JoAnn Fabric locations have Glowforge laser cutters. Check to see if your local library has one. Copy the SVG file to a thumb drive, and get it cut at the library! Google search: your town, state, and the word: Glowforge and see where the nearest maker space is near you.
