Thank you for shopping at J.K. Alvarez. It is my hope that you find a hand-crafted piece that you love and desire to make your own for many years to come. I look forward to working with you in this process. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or need additional information about a piece in the shop, or one you would like to custom order.
I accept credit cards through Paypal, checks and money orders for your convenience. If ordering by check, please allow ten days for the check to clear before the item is shipped.
All pieces are sent via USPS First Class Mail. Orders in excess of $50 will be sent by insured mail and will require a signature for delivery. If you require faster delivery, tracking, or other special services, please contact me to make arrangements and for prices. I will be happy to accommodate you. Shipping overages, if any, will be refunded.
Packages are shipped within 1-2 days of receiving the order (excluding Sundays), unless otherwise stated. Please be aware of USPS shipping deadlines for the holidays if you are buying items to arrive in time for the holidays. Those deadlines can be viewed at http://www.usps.com/holiday/welcome.htm. Seller is not responsible for shipping delays once the package has been shipped.
For international deliveries, please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
Refunds and Exchanges
In the case of an item needing to be re-sized, please contact me. I will do my best to accommodate your request within the confines of the piece. If you need to send the item back for re-sizing, please note the shipping will be paid by the buyer.
While my pieces are made to last, I also understand that life happens. Things get accidentally tugged, pulled, caught, etc. beyond what jewelry is meant to handle. If this happens, please contact me and I will be happy to make repairs, if possible, and give you an estimate of how long it will take. Shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return your item within 7 days, including the receipt and reason for return, and I will either exchange your item or refund your money, less the shipping charge.
