My name is Joshica and I'm a wife, a mother and a naturalista. I was born and raised in Prince George's County, Maryland and currently live in Los Angeles, California. JOSHICA BEAUTY got it's start in 2015 with me starting my natural hair journey or "going natural", which means, I stopped wearing hair weaves, wigs and using chemical straighteners in my hair and started wearing my natural afro-textured natural hair. That may not seem like a big deal to some people, but it was a lifesyle change for me because I no longer looked to the main stream media to show me how I should look, instead I redefined what I consider beautiful by embracing my own natural beauty and wearing my natural hair proudly.

Another turning point was during my pregnancy; I realized how important it was to use products that were free of harmful chemicals. I became aware of the harmful chemicals that exist in some of the food, water, hair and skin care. During my pregnancy I made sure that I ate healthy organic foods and avoided products that contained a lot of sugar, salt, genetically modified organisms and pesticides. I believe this is the reason I had such an amazing pregnancy, however, I was surprised to find that there is a numerous amount of products on the market for babies and adults, some of which are trusted household brands, that contained carcinogenic ingredients such as parabens, sulfates and phthalates...

JOSHICA BEAUTY is a natural hair and skin care brand that celebrates black natural beauty and promotes self-care with a collection of luxurious natural hair and beauty products designed, curated and handcrafted by founder, Joshica Craig.

We encourage black women to wear their natural hair, while educating women on ways to care for and manage their hair. The Natural Hair Collection was created for women with kinky, curly locks.

All products are handmade in small batches with quality ingredients. JOSHICA BEAUTY offers natural organic hair and skin care, free from parabens, sulfates and other harmful ingredients.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info [!at] and send your item to: PO Box 291154 Los Angeles, California US 90029.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping items over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Online orders can be paid for through PayPal or Stripe. For security purposes, we require that you enter your card's verification number CVV2. The verification number is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card on the signature strip. Please note that we can not accept check payments.
Refunds are given if an order is cancelled within 3 days. Refunds will be provided within 30 days. However, the shipping cost of the return of a cancelled order, after dispatch, will be your responsibility.
Orders ship Monday-Saturday with the exception of postal holidays. All orders ship within 3-5 business days of the purchase date. At times when I experience a higher volume of orders this time period may be extended. All orders are shipped via USPS.

Shipping rates have increased. I am pleased to offer flat rate shipping, $7.10 on small boxes, 12.85 on medium boxes and free shipping on orders $50 or more for shipping within the US. (free shipping available only @

Tracking numbers are provided for all orders to the US & Canada. You will receive your tracking number when your order is shipped.

We do ship to all APO, DPO and FPO addresses.

All international customers are responsible for any additional fees that may be incurred by their country's customs office.

We will replace lost packages after a certain time period has passed.
After 3 weeks for domestic packages.
After 6 weeks for international packages.
If your order has not arrived in what you deem a timely manner, please contact us. We are happy to do all that we can to help you track down your package.
