Honoring the Art Within

We have both been creators our whole lives. While there have been many times when we have left art, it has never left us. In fact in the moments when we thought we had made a clever "get-away" from the stirrings inside, it was just about that moment when the stirrings found other avenues to be seen and heard. And then, there comes a time when you can no longer forsake that which lives in you.

So in the summer of 2012, we decided to listen and follow the inspirations that live within each of us. I believe everything is put on our path to guide us...messages that help us navigate the physical world. In June of 2012, The Sun magazine published an interview with Ran Ortner, an accomplished artist, whose works include a series called, "Deep Water." In the interview Ortner describes, "that making art is profoundly and fundamentally life affirming. To make art is to give, to pour yourself into life, so you don't die with the music still inside you." These words spoken by a fellow creator were another sign along the roadside ensuring us that in the moment we were on course with our journey.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. It is like the mother of all road trips. We are here singing, creating, and pouring all we have and know into life, so that nothing is left inside when this journey is over. Follow our progress as we honor the art within.
