    Creating and loving it!

    For many years, I worked as a software consultant. I enjoyed my work but as our children grew out of the toddler years, I realized they needed me more than ever and so I ended my career in software and decided to use my passion for creativity to start a home business.

    I began a jewelry line offering affordable but stylish and high quality jewelry, all designed and made by me. I wanted to offer jewelry priced to allow women to afford several items to wear with different outfits. I also wanted to provide budget- conscious brides with jewelry options for themselves and their bridal parties.

    And so began Jacaranda Designs....

    Why the name Jacaranda Designs? I grew up in sunny South Africa in the city of Johannesburg. The jacaranda trees lined many streets in our neighborhood and when in bloom were a glorious image to behold. I wanted to convey that same nature-inspired feeling of beauty to my jewelry line, so hence the name Jacaranda.

    I work out of a studio in my home. I am constantly designing and making pieces of jewelry I think my customers will fall in love with. Above all, it is important to me to ensure all my products are nickel and lead free and so I source the best and most reliable suppliers for raw materials.

    How Will My Order Be Shipped

    Orders to the USA are shipped using USPS First Class (including tracking number). Packages generally take 3-5 business days to arrive.

    Orders shipped to Canada are shipped using Canada Post Expedited Mail (including tracking number). Packages typically take 7 business days to arrive.

    International orders are shipped using Canada Post International Air Mail (NO tracking number). Packages typically take 2-3 weeks to arrive.

    How Do I Care For My Jewelry

    Proper care of your items is important.
    • Avoid direct contact with water, sweat, soaps, perfume, lotion, etc.
    • Keep away from hard surfaces to prevent any scratching.
    • gently wipe jewelry with a soft dry cotton cloth to remove any dirt, dust and natural skin oils.
    • Store jewelry in a jewelry box or a pouch away from direct sunlight.

    How Is My Order Packaged?

    Your order will be packaged in a jewelry box and wrapped in tissue. If your order is being sent directly to the recipient, I am happy to include a greeting card with your personal note. Simply include your note in the "message to seller" space when ordering. I DO NOT include a receipt in the package in case the item is going directly to the recipient.

    What Is the Size of the Jewelry? What Chain Lengths are Available?

    The dimensions of each piece of jewelry and in the case of necklaces, the length of chains available, are found in the description of each item by clicking on the "item details."
