My Philosophy:

On my offerings which are my own handmade work, I insist on the highest quality materials. I exhaust all sources to find and to use tools, fabrics, glass, chemicals, etc. which were made in the USA. I strongly believe that by supporting American suppliers when at all possible, I can do what I can to help our country's economy and support American artists. Sure, it's a drop in the bucket but every bit helps.

If American museum gift shops and art galleries would limit the number of their offerings made overseas and choose to promote those made in the US by American artists, I believe it sends a positive message to consumers that our own artists create quality, beautiful and goods quite worthy to be showcased.

I will now step down from my virtual soapbox but not without thanking you for your awareness of what can be done to encourage and to promote local talent.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
Payment
I prefer PayPal for their ease but will happily accept checks or money orders. I go to the Post Office nearly every day so upon completed, cleared payment, your purchase will be on its way to you within at the most, 48 hours - most likley, 24.

A 40% down payment will hold an item but for no longer than 2 months (unless other arrangments are made in advance). Should the customer cancel the purchase, customer will receive 50% of the down payment made.
Shipping
Usually I use the USPS for shipping and always with tracking numbers.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING:

I usually ship free, when possible, as part of my service to my customers with appreciation for their purchase. Only under rare circumstances, will I ever ask my customer for an added charge for shipping and/or packing materials unless an upgraded shipping method is requested; then I will ask my customer to pay the difference.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

I will not fudge, lie or otherwise misrepresent information required on any international customs forms for the purpose of evading the taxes required. Please do not ask me to do this for you.

I only ask in shipping charges, what the post office charges me.
Refunds and Exchanges
It is my duty to you to describe my offerings accurately and I guarantee all my offerings to be exactly as described and will defer to PayPal to make that determination should a problem arise with a sale. I do ask that if a customer has questions or wishes to see more photos before purchase, I will be delighted to comply to that request. I welcome it.

It is my customer's responsibility to supply me with the accurate address to which to send the purchase if purchased personally (i.e. check). I keep and save careful records of all my sales with addresses which are provided to me by the buyer.

PAYMENT:

No interest will be chaged for payment plans if completed within 2 months. Default will result in forfeiture of prior payments.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are happily taken and guaranteed to be completed by estimated time. Of course I appreciate as much lead time as possible. Terms for payment will be discussed and agreed upon by both customer and artist. Please note that I usually require a 40% deposit on custom orders with the balance due at completion.

Shipping costs will be included in the agreed-upon price of the item(s).
