Cut With Care, Sent With Soul
Hello, and thank you for stopping by!
I’m Jack, the person behind every bolt, swatch, and order that leaves this little shop. What started as a cramped corner of my living room — piled high with vintage florals, linen remnants, and quirky prints I couldn’t resist — has grown into a full-blown fabric love affair. And now, I get to share it with you.
I’ve been sewing since I was old enough to reach a pedal. My grandmother taught me that fabric isn’t just material. It’s memory. It’s the dress you wore to your first dance, the quilt that kept your baby warm, the curtain that turned a house into a home. That belief is woven into every single piece I source for this shop.
I hand-pick all our fabrics directly from overstock warehouses, small-batch textile mills, and even deadstock collections from bigger brands. Why? Because I’m looking for the unusual, the leftover, the overlooked. You won’t find mass-produced, generic patterns here. Instead, expect Japanese cotton lawns with tiny elephants, linen-cotton blends that feel like a favorite shirt, bold quilting cottons from indie designers, and the occasional velvet or double gauze that just begs to be touched.
Sustainability matters to me just as much as style. By rescuing deadstock and surplus fabrics, we’re keeping perfectly good textiles out of landfills — and giving them a second life in your hands. Many of our listings are limited runs. When a print is gone, it’s truly gone. That means what you buy is special. No big-box repeats.
I cut, fold, and pack every order myself. Before any fabric leaves my studio, I inspect it for flaws, iron out wrinkles, and wrap it with a handwritten thank-you. I want you to feel the same excitement opening your package that I felt when I first discovered that fabric.
Whether you’re sewing a everyday tote, a wedding gown, or your first pillowcase, I’m honored to be part of your project. Thank you for choosing small, choosing sustainable, and choosing fabric with a past — and a future.
Happy sewing,
Jack
