versatile pouch adjusts to walker, wheelchair, or stroller
It all started with a pocket scarf and my grandmothers yarn. . .
While I was making items for my first shop, JadeRoseBoutique, my mom gave me some yarn that once belonged to her mother. who knitted beautiful sweaters. I did not inherit her talent, but I at an early age I found that I was happiest when I was sewing, making jewelry, and crocheting. Since Grammy Ko's yarn stash contained an assortment of pinks, blues, green, and whites, I was forced to come up with a design. I decided to make a baby blanket that I would give to her first great-grandchild. I had so much fun that I designed a scarf and glove set for myself and an eternity scarf for my daughter.
Since I have muscular dystrophy, and am in a wheelchair most of the day, I made a pocket scarf, bottle holder, and a wheelchair pouch to easily carry my craft supplies, water, phone, and camera. These I felt compelled to share with others who wanted to make items for their loved ones who needed a walker or wheelchair to get around. After that, I seem to have become addicted to hook and yarn.
I am eternally grateful for all who have purchased my patterns. Nothing brings me more joy that to hear that someone loved a gift made from one of my designs. It is because of all the people who love to crochet that I am one happy hooker!
