Announcement   I have been designing and making jewelry for the past 23 years. I love fashion, culture, and art so it subtly influences what I do. My work has an ethnic feel as I derive many looks from African, Hindu,& Tibetan cultures. Each piece of jewelry is unique with a strong desire to see color, form, and texture come together. I use semi precious stones, some antique and one of a kind pendants and findings, sterling, brass, and vermeil. I believe in the inherent beauty & power of gemstones & talismans as a way to give meaning to adorning ourselves... Beading is a meditation in motion for me and I love how it quiets my mind!! I hope you feel the power of each piece of jewelry when it's worn..ENJOY!

Jaime was so helpful throughout the whole process, designing exactly the piece that I wanted. And, the necklace is beautiful and exactly as pictured.

About

Beadaholique Jewelry Designer

I have had a retail gift shop called Timbuktu in Woodstock, NY for the past 20 years. I decided to try ETSY as a vehicle to sell my jewelry that I was just selling in my shop and wholesaled from time to time. I love the whole artisan movement created here by people from all over the world. I have found artists that I would love to carry in my shop too! It makes me so excited when I "find" something that inspires my own creativity all at the touch of my computer.
Jewelry making for me never gets boring and I never know what I'll create until I actually sit down & see it all in front of me making it fun & interesting. Sometimes I visualize several necklace combinations at once and get so excited that I have to force myself to take breaks and stop! My customers come in and ask, "Did you make ALL of this?" and I can proudly say YES!!

I have been making and designing jewelry for over 20 years. When I go upstairs to my studio everything else just falls away.. I love the solitude of my studio and beading is like a meditation in motion. It's always a fun surprise as to what happens!
