From Convenience to Consciousness...

If a real time image has struck me and stayed with me....it is the image of a large number of people segregating trash. It could all well be unsegregated waste which would include organic waste to toxic waste like disposable diapers, sanitary napkins and so on......these especially are absolutely avoidable wastes!

Also, the disposable trend and the thought that most of the trash/garbage goes to landfill that kills and renders the land infertile....

After using cloth pads for almost 10 years now and continuing with complete abstinence from disposables....it has been a beautiful journey and experience through thick and thin.
Work, travel, mood swings...:), health and most importantly Our Mother Nature/Planet Earth all taken care of by Cloth Pads.....

The Cloth Pads seed has been nurtured and now matured into Jaioni Reusable pads.
Jaioni started in 2013 with beautiful support and welcome from friends and family.

Probably disposable pads are convenient but that convenience comes at a huge cost and it all adds up...no..not to be virtuous about it at all but plain conscious and at peace
with my actions...Jaioni is my "wishing/praying peace" to the planet and to the feminine principle in all of us..:)

Thank you for your interest in Jaioni!

I imagine an ecosystem like business where there are no open/loose ends that would allow for waste to happen; and even if there is, a genuine attempt to absorb it should also be.

Jaioni is a small step toward that direction. Jaioni Reusable pads comes in vibrant colors and patterns. Jaioni is an initiative to Up-cycle beautiful cloth materials. They are Soft, All-Natural (no synthetic of any sort) and Vegan (no wool). Also included is a separate natural rubber leak proof insert that could go with any of the pads in the kit.

To make these has been a joyous experience and I am hoping that it would give you as much joy to use it.

Because Jaioni is 100% handmade of natural materials, individual pieces will vary in color. Also, hand wash and air dry recommended.

Additional policies and FAQs

Hand wash and air dry recommended. Soak, rinse cloth pads in lukewarm to cool water and the rubber insert in cool water only. Please avoid vigorous scrubbing & extreme heat. If machine washing/drying the cloth pads, then always do so along with sufficient laundry load. Like any new unwashed cloth, the pads might lose some color in the first wash. Washing with baking soda helps.
