Welcome to our shop “Jaipur Handloom”, Your one Stop shopping for all East Indian handmade ethnic textiles, that are rare exotic and One of a Kind. We specialize in ethnic handmade good, we use unique colorful material, threads, clothes and vintage material to create these elegant arts.

List of items we specialize in:

• Vintage banjara ethnic cushion covers- pillows - sophisticated, fresh patterns that make beautiful accent pillows for the home.

All of the store items in my shop are hand made and colorful made with ethnic indian vintage clothing, cotton, silk and patches.

Unless otherwise stated, I recommend that all home decor items be DRY CLEANED in order to maintain color and structure.

Due to handmade nature all sales are final in our etsy shop. No refund or return.

Note:Items may have some odor, smell or color variations, loose threads, missing beads, different thread colors in quilts or other items than pictures which adds up to its charm and character, these are not defects or considered as reason for any dispute. Please read policies clearly before ordering.

CUSTOM ORDERS:

• Since all custom items are handmade and made with buyer's specific requests we DO NOT accept returns for any custom orders.

• All custom order sales are final.

• Custom orders can take up to 4-8 Weeks depending upon the size of the order, work details and destination.

• Due to the unique nature of the items in our shop all sales are Final in JaipurHandloom etsy shop. No refund for any sale, No exception.

LOST AND DAMAGED GOODS:

We do our best to make sure you never need to use this policy. But still here it is :

• We don’t guarantee damage of goods during in transit and you must accept item once shipped.

• We guarantee delivery of good. If item is lost in transit, we will send you similar goods (as they are handmade stuffs so every piece varies).

• However if delivery shows item is delivered but you claim you didn't receive then it's buyer's responsibility to contact the shipping carrier to locate the package.

• We will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged package once package is delivered.

• We don’t make refund for lost of goods in transit BUT we will reship the item and you still have to pay the shipping charges again.

• We do not refund for the Lost/Damage packages.

• We are not responsible for items not received due to an incorrect address.

• There is 'No Refund' if you leave us a negative feedback without contacting us first.

• If you have received a damaged item or if the item you received was not the item you ordered, please contact us by email within 24 hours of your receipt of the product, no later than 24 hours. It is important that you save all original packing materials as well as the item itself. When you reach us, we'll give you instructions on how to proceed. No more than 3 days will be allowed to return the damaged package. Once we receive the package we will ship similar item( color and design may vary due to the nature of the items). No refund will be issued for damaged item and return shipping fee will be borne by customer.

• if item is damaged while you try to use or on trial, we will consider it as used item and there is not refund for used item.

• We will ask you pictures of the damaged items as a proof before authorizing the return. Sometimes what you perceive as damage or flaw is actual design, thread work or left intentionally as part of design to increase the beauty of the item. Our decision will be final regarding damage claim. If we agreed on damaged good then you will still be liable to send the original item back to us with standard shipping carrier with tracking confirmation, item must be in original packaging. Buyer will be liable of return shipping fees.

• First send me an email about any problem you incur and we will try to resolve within the bounds of our shop policies, I do not want an unhappy customer.

• True vintage comes with wear and tear. If concerned about flaws please ask before purchase because returns are not possible. Thank you!

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES:

• Always email us first if you have a problem on handloom.in[!at]gmail.com

• Always be sure to report your problem within 24 hours of receiving the item in question.

• Never send back a item without consulting with us. It's very important that you DO NOT send the item back to us until you have verified with us and no credit or replacement shall be given on such items.

• Always report any and all problems associated with a single order/package delivery at the same time. Be as specific as possible when describing the problem
(include pictures if possible), as all returned items are examined for defects / variations.

• Always return your items using registered airmail / courier with tracking confirmation.

• Any shipping costs of sending back items to us are the responsibility of the customer.

• Please return within 3 working days of confirmation from our end, and with original packing & in original condition (please, no worn, washed, used or altered items). Please ensure to include a copy of the invoice you received.

• We will examine the item you return, figure out what went wrong, and take immediate steps to prevent such problems from reoccurring.

• As safe delivery to you is our responsibility, in the same way sending back safely to us is your responsibility. If something happens in transit and the package doesn't get delivered to us, we cannot help you. So make sure to send through suggested postal service in our return authorization mail only and forward the details to us and keep the airway bill or postal receipt till it gets delivered to us.
Payment
• We accept the payments ONLY via PAYPAL (which accepts all major credit cards). No need to create paypal account.

• Using paypal you can instantly pay by credit card or online bank transfer. As this is a transaction service provided by Etsy, you are assured for increased safety in online payments.

• When payment is made, your order is processed accordingly.

• Payment is due at the time of order. If payment has not been received within 24 hours seller has the right to cancel transaction and re-list.

• When the order is placed, the price of the item as well as the expenses of deliveries are not anymore negotiable. No exception.



• If you request for cancelling an order prior to shipping or within 24 hours of purchase we may consider cancelling your order on case by case but you will be liable for 10-30% charge of total transaction fee paid to vendors such etsy/paypal fee and 10-30 % charge of restocking fee based on the item, its condition and other factors.

• By purchasing and paid, we consider that you have read attentively, understood and accepted the conditions, all of our shop policies and the aforesaid instructions here and on listing page including our shipping/payment policies as well as terms and conditions mentioned in each of the item descriptions.
Shipping
• Items can be shipped from either our US location or INDIA location based on item's availability, custom order or user request. Shipping

• I ship all our products through India Post registered Airmail service from Delhi, India. Shipping charges are based on actual India Post shipping rates and also on the weight & dimension of the product. Delivery time is approximately 10-21 business days- working days.

• I can arrange 5 business days shipping for an extra fee with the international courier service provider like FedEx & DH

• If you ordered multiple Items, we reserve the right to ship items in multiple packages based on stock availability, item location and other factors. Some items from one order can be shipped from either our US location or India location based on item's availability, custom order or user request.

• Items may be shipped via USPS, FEDEX, UPS or Indian post office.

• During holiday periods shipping will take a bit longer than usual so please order early or convo me to arrange a rush order.

• Even if we provide processing times, in some cases It may take longer for us to actual process your order.

• Please note that residential shipments to USA & some other countries will be left at door if someone is not there to receive the package or no one answers the door bell. USPS will not be able to provide sign confirmation of delivery made in such cases, if someone stole or items is lost when left at door but shown as delivered, we will not be liable for any loss and doesn't take responsibility once items is shown delivered.

• Customer is liable to locate, contact USPS/UPS/Others for any lost package left at door. To ensure that no disputes arise due to this, kindly make sure that someone is there to receive the package when courier delivery is attempted.

• In certain cases USPS/UPS/Others international shipping may take up to 4-8 Weeks based on the destination country, customs holding and other various reasons and buyer must agree to wait until up to 4-8 weeks in case items gets delayed or stuck in customs.


• Custom order based on their specification can take up to 3-4 weeks to get created and then another 2-4 weeks to ship based on the destination country and work required to create custom order. There is no refund at all for any custom orders, customer may be notified when the custom order is ready to ship.

IMPORTANT: Please note that some countries incur Custom Duties, Excise Duty or Import Tax on international inbound shipments. These charges are as per the law of the land of the particular country and have to be paid by the consignee at the customs or to the courier delivery company. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESS:

• The customer will, without exception, bear the cost of lost/damaged items due to incorrect address. Please make sure your shipping address is correct.

• You must provide your contact number in order details.

• In the event of a reshipment of the same order, customers will be responsible to pay re-shipping charges for the reshipment.

• If for some reason customer didn't accept the order or shipping carrier made a mistake in shipping or customer provided incorrect address and item is returned back to seller/us, We will not be held liable to return any fee or cost of item including shipping fee, customer will have to contact us about reshipping the items once we get it back from carrier and customer will have to pay original shipping fees again. No exception.

DELIVERY EXCEPTIONS:

• If shipping carrier left notice and attempted to deliver package to you and for any reasons package is returned to us or lost in transit back to us, you will be liable for full value of items and shipping fee.

• If item is returned to us, you will be liable to pay for shipping fee again.

• If shipping carrier left notice in case you are not available and it's lost and stolen we will not be held liable for this and it will be considered a complete delivery for all intended purpose.

• Once provided tracking number, Its customer responsibility to track package and in delivery problems contact their local post office to resolve any delivery related issues.

• Once item is shown delivered in tracking status, We will not consider any claims for lost or stolen packages, It's customer's responsibility to resolve these issues with their local post office.

COLOR AND DESCRIPTION DISCLAIMER/POLICIES:

NOTE: This disclaimer is applicable to all our items for all intended purposes and we can't be held liable for any misunderstanding, claims, disputes and asked for returns, exchanges.

• All pictures are taken to show details of the items, please read the description carefully. Customer is liable to read full description before purchasing the item, orders can not be cancelled, disputed or returned just because buyer failed to read item listing description fully. If there is any question please send us convo before purchase and we will be more than glad to reply.

• We try to take photos of the our items as true as possible in terms of colors and appearance to the real items. Please keep in mind that due to various reasons such as computer's monitor’s resolution, lighting, you may see a variation in the actual item but we guarantee that you will love each and every craft we sell.

• Please note that we recycle vintage tribal fabric from Indian tribes. Vintage tribal items in our shop use fabrics which may have some stains or imperfect embroidery. or thread work To keep the originality of the fabric we don’t alter these and are the characteristic of the fabric and cannot be considered as an imperfection. This applies to kantha quilts, tapestry, pouf, ottoman, cushions and blankets where some threads on the edges left undone to increase the beauty of these handmade treasures.

• The details of the products or product specifications (for instance weight, color, handwork details, size, etc.) quoted with the product displays are only approximate values.

• While every endeavor has been made to accurately reproduce colors, there may be variations in color of the actual product because of the nature of fabric dyes, weather at the time of dying and differences in display output due to lighting and digital photography and color settings and capabilities of monitors.

• A customer must place an order keeping in mind this variation in color as seen on a computer screen against the actual color of the actual item received.

• We believe that all the customers who order online are aware that colors seen on a monitor will be slightly different or sometimes even more as compared to the actual items or products ordered. There can't be any returns or exchanges due to such color related issues.

• It is practically impossible for us to replicate the same colors on a product as seen on your monitor. A variation in the shade selected by you is considered as a normal practice as these products have a tendency to reflect different shades of a color under different light and weather, type of camera used for photography or type and settings on the computer monitor.

• We wish to clarify and ascertain that every customer who orders any item from us is aware of this genuine problem.

COLORS AND FABRICS POLICIES:

While ordering on internet, we suggest that customers should be extra careful of following -

• Red, maroon and orange colors have a higher tendency to reflect a different shade than other colors. For example even if you yourself try to photograph from a digital camera or scan a red garment, in most of the cases it will show either as maroon or orange on the computer monitor and vice versa. Though imaging technology has advanced, still no fool proof solution to this problem is available at the moment.

• Many a times green and blue shades also overlap. same is the case with offwhite, white and cream colors.

• Sea Green color sometimes looks Aqua blue and the other way around.

• Some fabrics like raw silk, khadi silk, cotton silk, south cotton, brocade have a textured effect where we can see the weaving & threads are visible in different directions which is a inherent characteristic or feature of that fabric and proof of its authenticity. These are not defects. This raw finish is the beauty of these fabrics.

• Handcrafted, hand dyed, hand printed, hand painted, hand embroidered, handloom, hand weaved products will always have minor differences when we compare them as they are not made by machines. Each piece will be unique. Handicraft artisans always try their best to make each piece better than the previous one. So, the product will always have minor variation keeping the same theme constant in artistic manner. The raw finish of the handicrafts cannot be compared with machine finished products as this raw finish is the beauty of the handicrafts items.

ART WORK POLICIES:

Beads and Sequins Missing or Coming off-

We believe that customers who are ordering items with sequins and other beaded embroidery are aware of the fact that these shiny embellishments have a tendency to come off. Even with the best of handling and care this cannot be avoided altogether.

Many a times during strict physical checking at the customs during transit, more than usual sequins and beads come off.

Many a times it may happen that you open a box and find some pieces falling down on the floor. Or you wear the dress and in few hours you might loose some of them. Do not panic or over-react because if you look with a magnifying glass at any such dresses / sarees worn by others, you will most certainly find some pieces missing or almost at a state of falling down.

There can't be any returns or exchanges due to such issues.
